I have brilliant memories of them. quite.. i have been quite outspoken about my love for this era and often critisised for being stuck in the past and unable to see beyond it. unfortunately the people saying this probably werent even around to witness just how awesome they were back then. i love rush music from every era but they will NEVER be this good again. FoxxiStarr Posted October 25, 2010 Share Posted October 25, 2010 These guys are awesome any time I see them but I would have to say that those first 3 shows I saw at the Apollo (Kings, Hemispheres, Permanent Waves) the band were starving hungry .. just SO on it and white hot. They may not have reached the level of musicianship they have achieved now but the utter driving passion and energy they played with then was incredible to see. They did 4 UK tours that took in the Glasgow Apollo All the world's a stage tour '77 "Kings" '78 Hemispheres '79 P.
