They will not sell alcohol at tonights Jets game in attempt to the crowds drinking/behavior.

I think its a poor decision and complete bullshit that will backfire on them.

First, if I had a ticket to the game and they announce at the last minute that there is to be no alcohol sales I would be furious.

Watching football = drinking

Secondly, I would have to guess bet the tailgaters get extra pickled while tailgating?

That's horrible Tangy. I can only imagine what would happen if the did that to Raider Fans at the Oakland Coliseum. The place would go apeshit.

Then again they can only fill up half the joint since the product on the field is so bad.

There were only 33,000 Raider fans there for the Ravens game.

Weak.

No alcohol at an NFL game? That would be like tying to have sex with a hot chick without a penis.

Makes no dollars and "sense" to me.

Drunken Bills fan passes out, leaving three children crying

By Lou Michel

News Staff Reporter

January 04, 2010, 1:16 PM /

An Olean man passed out and collapsed into a snowbank with his two children and a third child standing around him crying after Sunday's Buffalo Bills game in Orchard Park, authorities said.

Jeffrey A. Miles, 34, was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, Orchard Park police said.

Miles was transferred to an emergency medical station at Ralph Wilson Stadium for treatment.

Officers called the children's mothers in Olean and made arrangements for the women to pick them up, police said.

The harsh weather at Sunday's game did not curtail rowdy and drunken behavior on the part of other fans.

Orchard Park police also arrested a Toronto man on charges of reckless endangerment and assault after he threw two propane cylinders into a bonfire. Two people sustained burns and required treatment at Erie County Medical Center.

John Musikka, 40, was charged in that incident and later released on $300 bail.

Stadium security officers arrested a total of 17 individuals on charges ranging from possession of alcohol by minors to disorderly conduct.

With the Bills season now at an end, Orchard Park Police Chief Andrew Benz described policing efforts as commendable in making sure the general public was protected.

He explained that he assigned several extra officers to patrol around the stadium before, during and after the games. Back at the police station, an extra lieutenant routinely helped supervise processing of those arrested.

The Bills' organization, the chief added, was more proactive this season in curtailing rowdy behavior.

"I believe the Bills have an interest in having a safe and secure environment for the fans and if you do something wrong, you're going to face arrest," Benz said.

During the just-completed season, a total of 216 people were arrested, most inside the stadium, but some outside of it.

Also this past Sunday, state police made two traffic arrests following the Bills-Colts game.

Martin J. Rutecki, 22, of Colden, was charged with drunken driving after his vehicle crashed into a mailbox and ended up in a ditch on Boston State Road, troopers said.

Frank R. Dulak, 19, of Depew, was stopped on Transit Road in Lancaster for unsafe lane change, according to troopers. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

In total, state police issued 22 traffic tickets to motorists following the game.

What does it matter. The idiots that want to get drunk will get drunk in the parking lot.

Actually as a Raider season ticket holder that's what we do. The classic tailgate, drink a lot of beer and BBQ in the parking lot. Then sober up inside the Coliseum.

When I was younger though I used to keep drinking like an idiot during the game, then I would hung over by 8 pm.

Dumb.

I know the Raider Fans get a bad rap for being Silver And Black Drunk Assholes at the games but I've been going ever since 1995 when they came back to Oakland. I have seriously never seen one fight.

I saw some rental cops jump this idiot once and punch his lights out, but that was it.

You my friend are on a roll!

I instantly thought of the song "Signs." Covered by the Sacramento rock band TESLA.

Can you name the original band who wrote that song "Signs?"

No cheating!!
