After the attacks in Paris I was so pissed off.

I was driving up to Thunder Valley Casino listening to the news.

 

The last song in Night Ranger's set was "You Can Still Rock In America.

 

I've typed this already.

 

American flags were flying on the both giant flat screens.

 

I had tears in my eyes. I met a few people who were on the same page as me!

 

I am not insane.

 

I hope my real friends on here understand me.

Yeah you can't go wrong with them. I was always slightly disappointed with Seven Wishes even though it's a solid album. It's good but there's no really kick ass songs on there and it's a bit low key compared to the first two.

My God I feel the same way Pat! I'm not surprised. I was not happy with the more synthetic sound of "7 Wishes" but I liked it. The ballad "Goodbye" as you know still gets me emotionally.

Of course they played it last Friday night.

 

I believe "Interstate Love Affair" is on the "Teachers" soundtrack!

Yeah it just doesn't have enough balls but the songs are good. This Boy Needs to Rock is one of my faves and Faces, FAAAAAAACESSS! I think Interstate Love Affair is the one with that great heavy riff in the middle which is great but then it goes back to synth city!! Decent tune though.

I've seen them recently: still have blades, gillis, and keagy touring. I saw them with Joel hoekstra who is one of the really great rock guitarists out there now. I wasn't more than 10' away from the stage at an event at our local zoo. Blades and gillis are as good as ever. Keagy struggles with sister Christian but overall a nice show full of hits.

Yes! Kelly has been struggling a bit on "Sister" but I absolutely adore his voice. Not too many awesome drummers out there who can sing!

Was a monster Night Ranger fan back in their heyday of 1984,85.

 

Sat front row on the Seven Wishes Tour and threw an American Flag Guitar Strap on stage which Brad Gillis held proudly high up after they finished that tune to end the show. I remember the video you posted. I taped that great concert (Midnight Madness tour in Japan) on VHS (still have the tape bro!!!!) on MTV Friday night concerts. I have a huge collectioj of VHS tapes of Friday night concerts. Man the good ol days of the original MTV. It was glorious growing up in the 80's.

 

Rumors In The Air, Eddie's Coming Out Tonight, Passion Play, Let Him Run, Goodbye, Four In The Morning, Don't Tell Me You Love Me, Sing Me Away...so many great songs from the first 3 records.

 

I lost touch with them after the album that had that god awful song in the Michael J Fox Movie Secret Of My Success (same title of the song) oh man that was bad. I still went to the show though for that tour with the great Outfield opening and they played almost all of their second album Banging (which I think was their very best album mind you front to back). Was up close again at the now defunct Sunrise Musical Theater (was the very best concert venue we ever had IMO).

 

They just came here last week and i could not make it out to see them at Magic City Casino. I would love to see them one more time for old times sake! Great energy, great guys, great good old fashioned pop rock.
