Are those crickets that I faintly here in the distance?

 

Now that the NHL and NBA are over and my A's suck ass, all I have to look forward to are my 2009 Oakland Raiders.

Yes I do say "my" because my dad and I have four season tickets to the Raider games.

They sure love to take our cash, and still put a shitty product out on the field.

I am sure you guys will fire away at will but don't worry, I am not a stereotypical Raider fan. I am a realist and the Raiders really SUCK.

Let's quickly bring up the NFL Draft again.

I remember, I was at an A's game on Draft Day and I was looking down at my iPhone every minute just waiting and waiting and hoping and praying for the Raiders to draft that Red Raider MICHAEL CRABTREE!

 

Oh yeah, I was licking my chops just waiting to see the Silver and Black pick Crabtree.

 

Well my day suddenly turned into a deep depression. As I looked down upon my phone it said RAIDERS SELECT DARRIUS HEYWARD-BEY WR.

 

I'm like what the f**k just happened? Heyward-Bey WHO?????

 

I wanted to smash my phone into a million pieces.

I wanted to cry.

 

Sure enough the news got worse for me when the fukkin' Forty Whiners picked my guy!

I am still bummed as you can tell and I HATE the Niners with a passion.

 

Now all of us football fans in the Bay Area will be keeping a close watch on Crabtree and Bey.

Who will be the better receiver? Bey is fast as a shark but probably has hands of brick just like James Jett, "The Rocket" and that piece of fast shit Rickey "Dud"ley.

 

Hell I might jump in the bay and drown myself if I have to sit through another bogus season with the Raiders.

 

Six straight seasons with five wins or less.

I can't take it much longer.

 

AL DAVIS MUST DIE!

 

OR AT LEAST RETIRE!!!!!!

Oh there's no doubt about it. The Raiders were incredible back in the day.

Don't forget THE ASSASSIAN, Jack Tatum. Remember that hit he laid on Stingley? It was exhibition too against the Oilers. Brutal hit. Very sad indeed.

Nice pick up from the Cowboys in Greg Ellis. He still has a couple of good years left in the tank. He put in a lot of good years with my Cowboys and I wish him well in Oakland - feel a little sorry for him though!

I am sure you all know about the De La Salle HS Football Varsity team right here on the edge of Concord California. I have to drive by that high school every day on my commute to work.

Anyway I am sure you know how great this team is.

I was really excited about MNF on Sept 14th. Raiders Chargers. Still going with my dad and two buddies of mine but I'm a bit nervous. I think the Raiders are going to get their asses handed to them.
