Anarchist symbol on the left, Watchmaker on the right! It sucks having to explain them to non-Rush people. :P These are awesome! I'm a wuss when it comes to pain so this is not an option for me. :| Inside of the wrists is a really difficult spot - going over my tendons was a bit uncomfortable! Healing process sucked too because I couldn't bend or flex my wrists for a couple of days. But, I think it was worth it. ;) :rush: It was definitely worth it; they look really good! I'd been thinking about it for years now, but couldn't put my finger on what exactly I wanted to have done. Many ideas popped into my head...and then quickly left when I realized how stupid some of those ideas would be. And then it came to me. I wanted something that represented my love for Rush. I wanted something that was symbolic and had purpose (yeah...I know it sounds corny, but I think a tatto has to somehow reflect your beliefs/values, even if the meaning is subdued). I wanted something that I could look at every day for the rest of my life and understand why I did it. While I didn't get anything conventionally Rush, this design represents both my favorite album - Grace Under Pressure AND a value that I try to live towards on a daily basis - when things get tough, maintain "grace under pressure". Its called a symbiotogram...the design reads a different word when flipped upside down. PRESSURE read normally, while GRACE is upside down, or "under" PRESSURE. I drew in red pen the outline of the words for your reading pleasure (good thing I'm not a tattoo artist!
