The Owl Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 I don't nessicarly think Grissom will be completly written out of the show in the same way Warrack was. Peterson is not just going to be a regular anymore. They just need to end the series soon, all these cast changes are calling for it. I think Fisburne should make the transition from movies to TV smoothly. Doesn't always work but with Fishburne I just have a feeling he'll be fine. CSI won't be the same without Grissom I agree, it won't be the same without Peterson in the key role, but when I heard Lawrence Fishburne was stepping in, I thought , wow, they really snagged some serious A-list talent. He's played some pretty intense characters: Bumpy Johnson, Sheriff Tanny Brown, Morpheus. I think he'll bring that same intensity to the small screen.
