CygnusX-1Bk2
Well, 5 or 6 of us have them here. They now go for around $849 at GC or Musician's Friend.
rushbass
QUOTE (CygnusX-1Bk2 @ Jul 10 2008, 02:28 PM) Well, 5 or 6 of us have them here. They now go for around $849 at GC or Musician's Friend. I should have bought one 10 years ago, when they were only $629... but, then again, I already have a vintage 1962 Fender Jazz...
jacklifeson
I got mine used but mint off ebay last October for $550. Prices have went up for sure on these basses, but they are fantastic for the price. And, with the economy in the toilet at the moment, you can probably find a good priced one out there as people are selling stuff to keep afloat IMO. Now, if you find a Wal bass for cheap, let me know! Edited July 11, 2008 by jacklifeson
Alex
Where did all the high prices come from? Ive seen them for about $
jonfiredaman02
Thats the list price, not the actual retail price. The standard retail on the GL jazzes is $

Jon
Was it lost? Great basses, especially at the price, although I'm more at home with a Rickenbacker. There was a time when I had two Geddy Lees (by mistake): http://img159.imageshack.us/img159/49/2jazzesarickaguardln9.jpg Edited July 16, 2008 by Jon

Jon
Yep - thought the first one I ordered was never going to ship, so I ordered and received another one in the meantime.
