It'll be hard to know which ones were posted here in the first place, though, right? I for one sure would like to see some of them, just reading the comments makes me drool! biggrin.gif

Hey Girls!

 

How's it going? I found this site today! Wow! To find so many Geddy fans is a treat, let me tell ya. I thought I was in a minority. Ha! Guess not.

 

I've loved RUSH since I was 14, and I'm 41 now. My my my...how time freaking flies. It seems like yesterday I was inadvertently hearing ALL THE WORLDS A STAGE from my brother's bedroom door, and loving every thing I heard in 1978! I followed up my obsession with HEMISPHERES, and was totally hooked. But with life, family, and time I fell away from their music. It's normal. So many years ago, man. WOW! That was so long ago...

 

But my son has re-introduced me to my RUSH love affair. He loves them. He's 14, and we are going together with my 18 yr old daughter and husband to the show in Atlanta for our first SHOW!!! I have always wanted to see these guys in person, and witness their technical proficiency, their beautiful melodies, (I know they as a band hate this!), and yes...intelligent lyrics LIVE...it's going to be a great experience, I just know it.

 

Anyway! Back to Geddy!

Oh...I don't want to give the impression that I am lost on much of their music...quite to contrary. I love so much of their early music. FLY BY NIGHT, CARESS OF STEEL, 2112, HEMISPHERES....hey man, I love these albums. Plus Tom Sawyer, Limelight, and YYZ!
