rickyrob
I'm doing this for a bit of fun, since everyone has Superbowl Fever. Just pick your team and post it. Bragging rights to the winner. Rules: You pick a team of Quarter Back, Running Back, Receiver (incl WR & TE), Kicker, and Defense/Special Teams - i.e. 5 positions. No limit to how many players you can have from any one side. Score points as follows: TD: 6 points - any player TD Pass: 3 points - any player XP: 1 point - Kicker FG: 3 points - Kicker Def/S.T. TD: 6 points :- any Punt Return/KO Return/Fumble Return/Interception for a TD 2 point conversion: 2 points if rushed, 1 point to receiver, 1 point to passer, if passed. Defense also scores +1 point for every Interception, -1 point for every 6 points allowed by the opposition. Players to choose from: Quarterbacks: M.Vick ATL, D.McNabb PHI, T.Brady NE, B.Roethlisberger PIT Running Backs: W.Dunn ATL, T.Duckett ATL, B.Westbrook PHI, D.Levens PHI, C.Dillon NE, K.Faulk NE, J.Bettis PIT, D.Staley PIT Receivers -WR's and TE's: A.Crumpler, P.Price, B.Finneran, M.Jenkins: all ATL T.Pinkston, F.Mitchell, G.Lewis, L.J.Smith: all PHI D.Givens, D.Branch, C.Fauria, T.Brown, D.Patten: all NE H.Ward, A.Randle-El, P.Burress, L.Mays: all PIT Kickers: J.Feely ATL, D.Akers PHI, A.Vinatieri NE, J.Reed PIT Defense: ATL, PIT, NE, PHI The above are examples of some of the main players, but you can choose anyone you know of as long as they play in the relevant positions. Pick your team before KO of the first Conference Championship game. You cannot alter your team after this until the Superbowl Game where I will allow you to change just two postions - but must be players who have been knocked out of the Superbowl. If there aren't any takers for this, then Example team: M.Vick C.Dillon T.Pinkston J.Reed PIT Defense

rickyrob
It must be I still think its because I connect from two computers, both of which I have my username and password saved on. For some reason when on my works machine, I'm logged in. I think I might have signed up from that machine, which is why it recognises me better there. I think its confused when it sees me on this machine. ...I think I hope you're going to pick a team AGP, all you have to do is pick 4 players and a DEF/Special Teams Unit. Alsgalpal
K, on my team, I would like you as the fast person, BSG as the tackler dood, and Barn as the punter, ( ) and, hmmm... I think Kazzie and Moonie as the other doods. I know absolutely nothing about football... I will be the tomboy cheerleader. Instead of pom-poms I will use shrubs... No problems I was a little worried that there wouldn't be any takers, so I decided on the 'sponsorship' thing. It is supposed to be fairly easy, but when you type out all the rules it looks complicated Incidentally, I will pick up all the official stats off www.nfl.com....if you're wondering how I can determine how many interceptions a team has. madra sneachta
OK - I know nothing about NFL, apart from the fact that there was a player called the Refrigerator about twenty years ago who once played in an exhibition match in Dublin. Picking names for totally irrelevant reasons, my selection is - Quarterback - T.Brady (In honour of Paul Brady from my neighbouring county) Running Back - D.Staley (In honour of Wayne Staley, AIC) Receiver - D.Patten (Because my daughter had a teacher called Mrs Patten) Kicker - J Feely (Because my mum's best friend in school was called Feely) Defence - ATL (Because it shares initials with Across The Line on BBC Ulster) So - Brady Staley Patten Feely ATL
