ILSnwdog
All though I grew up during the Roger Moore era, my favorite Bond is between Connery and Craig. Connery made the role of Bond famous, but I love Craig's bad ass portrail of Bond. Favorite Bond girl is probably Ursula Andress...but there are so many great ones to choose from. Favorite movie is a tie between Dr. No and Casino Royale...Like I said, I loved Craigs bad ass portrial of Bond.
Ru5h F@n
Well I liked all the movies except Casino Royale. I can't stand Daniel Craig period. My favorite bond guy would be Sean Connery overall, but I also liked Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan as well. My favorite bond girl was Diana Rigg. She had the most class out of all the bond girls.
ReRushed
I love On Her Majesty's Secret Service, but I do have a hard time accepting Lazenby as Bond. He didn't have the acting chops to portray the role. But, having said that, it's a fantastic film. Also, after only one film, Craig is my favorite Bond after Connery. No, I have to agree that he wasn't a top notch actor. But he didn't do too half bad for the role even though. As for Daniel Craig, I would have picked a better actor for Casino Royale. lerxt1990
QUOTE (workingcinderellaman @ Sep 20 2007, 03:53 PM) I didn't like where they went with the latest James Bond flick. I thought the movie was alright, but it was missing a lot of that James Bond spoofieness. I thought it took itself too serious. For the James Bond fans, what was your favorite movie? Favorite Bond? Favorite Bond girl? Favorite bad guy? Connery. Blofeld. Pussy Galore.
Ru5h F@n
I just thought most of the bond girls were slutty except Diana Riggs. She added a twist which made the movie even more interesting. Too bad she dies at the end. It would have been nice to see James staying married to Tracy.

The best thing Lazenby did was not ruin the movie. Ironically, it was the first Bond role with serious dramatic undertones and Connery would've excelled. Apparently, he left Bond because the role was becoming a joke and the first film after he left was the type of role he wanted for Bond!
Ru5h F@n
Well actually the story was Sean didn't want to do it because he thought it was a lame script and said he wouldn't do it. This caused riffs between him and MGM/UA and they decided to write him "Diamonds Are Forever" instead. That was his last movie as James Bond. Then he came back for 1 more in "Never Say Never Again" which was produced by Warner Bros. and was a copy of Thunderball. MGM/UA was against the movie and had to stall release of Octopussy which came out the exact time. MGM/UA is trying to get the rights for it but don't know if Warner Bros. will give it up. I basically thought the opposite. Connery was bored with all the gadgets and far-out plots. Ironically, On Her Majesty's Secret Service would have remedied that. He did Diamonds Are Forever because of the almighty dollar.
lerxt1990
QUOTE (syrinxpriest 2112 @ Oct 2 2007, 08:38 PM) Fav Bond: Sean Connery...bar none. He set the Bond standard. Fav Girl: I honestly can't say...too many to choose from!! Fav film: "Thunderball," It just kicks ass all the way through; and the scenery is gorgeous. Fav Villian: Alec Trevelyan. He was just so menacing. Fav Car: It's a tie between the Aston Martin DB5 and the Lotus Esrit turbo. I think this should be added: Fav one-liner: Pussy Galore: "Where's Goldfinger?" Bond: "Playing his golden harp." Bond owns... Thunderball and Goldfinger are two of my favorites... If you remember, they basically remade Thunderball in that movie "Never Say Never Again", which starred Richie Cunningham's older brother

RobertMason
Connery was the best, with Moore being second best. Craig was decent in his role, but not even close to as good as these two. The others can be forgotten about.
