Faithless Posted May 25, 2007 Share Posted May 25, 2007 Eric's one of my favorite musicians. I've been a huge fan of his for years and go catch his shows around town whenever I can. One of the best shows I've ever seen came via the band in ALC format back in 2001 (EJ, Chris Maresh, Bill Maddox) playing at The Backyard (nice local outdoor venue) with Malford Milligan sitting in for several tunes. At the time I was concerned that the show might be canceled due to bad weather, but the thunderstorms in the area stayed far enough away that they didn't ruin the festivities. I'll never forget watching them play "Rain" with lightning flashes surrounding us, illuminating the tops of huge storm clouds, and very sparse drops of rain falling on us. It was just surreal.
