I don't think the Beatles are overrated at all, but I've kind of learned to stop arguing with people who do. Not everybody likes the same music. I don't get what's so great about Bruce Springsteen, for example, but so many people worship him, so they clearly must be "getting" something that I'm not. To each their own. The middle section would be extended for David Gilmour to play more solos and the band to improvise in the 4/4 section. yea. its just that i never even found it slightly entertaining even when i heard it before i knew who it was. and after a while, the coolness/funky-ness of the main 7/4 riff gets highly annoying time and time again. the only time i listen to the song is when im listening/watching something with the entire DSOTM album.
