Rob
I guess this question may have been posed before...but here goes... Is 'music' created and recorded entirely without any interaction between humans and musical instruments actually music at all, or something else? I am talking about electronic 'music', generated entirely by programming or instructing a computer to emit sounds. I guess that covers most club dance music and a large portion of pop too. Roddy
Musical instruments make music. A computer/turntable isn't, has never and WILL never be a musical instrument. Thus all-electronic 'music' isn't actually music, it's computer generated sound/noise.
doubled_mystic
unfortunately it counts as music, by definition, but to me, it never has and never will.
