RUSHHEAD666
QUOTE (daveyt @ Oct 22 2006, 05:43 PM) OMG i really hope hit hits that triangle. that would be the greatest rush album ever if neil hits the triangle. and a cowbell. This is incredible news for me! So far so good!! I can only hope that every song on the new RUSH record is WITHOUT electronic percussion!! Real windchimes? A real triangle? This thread has made my night! RUSH ON IN ORGANIC FORM!!!!

the masked drummer
QUOTE (Vicious @ Oct 22 2006, 08:44 AM) No electronic drums, no MalletKat.. Interesting point. maybe he'll add that stuff later as the songs develop. Maybe he's just using acoustics for this album? hmmmm. Interesting... R.G
I think the west coast kit looks way better than the 30th anniversary kit to be honest, so i hope he's gone with this for recording and tour.

Disco
You know, I'm so psyched about the new album, more so than I have been since I was a teenager - excited and anxious at the same time. This board stokes my interest, and just knowing after the last album that they still have it in them, juuuust please let them have both the songs, attitude and the sound. Disco PS Has anyone else noticed the sound of Vapor Trails was a bit off...

I got used to the production/bad mix myself it's the aural equivalent of peering through a fog, the closer you get to it, the more the haze seems to disappear...
