Rush Cocky
I'm convinced that a piece of the sun has fallen somewhere in South Carolina. This is the hottest weather imaginable. Our heat index is currently 108 (42 deg C), and we're not even in the heat of the day yet. There is a report along the coast last hour of a heat index of 119 deg F (48 deg C). And it will only get hotter. No wonder the Marines train down there......if you can survive in that kind of heat, you can survive anything. Rush Cocky
QUOTE (Rolinda Bonz @ Jul 22 2010, 10:11 PM) thunderstorm Good for you.....tis a rarity in Phoenix. It's still like a heat index of 90 at 10:00 where I live. Could be worse.....an hour east of here in Florence, SC the heat index is still 100 degrees at 10pm. THIS SUCKS. We had some wild lightning and thunder all last night, I got some video of it. It was electrifying! Expected to get up to 24C this afternoon with rain tomorrow. Yup I was right... it was pissin' down when I had to go to work this morning. AND I couldn't find my jacket... I dunno wtf happened to it. Now it's pretty clear and about 24C another hot one like yesterday. I hope the power doesn't go out again. That really sucked for 2 hours!

Chrysalii
hazy, hot, humid, with a chance of thunderstorms....booo A humid 91F with partly cloudy skies and a chance of isolated Thunderstorms. Tomorrow, 87F same as today (better chance of storms) but then Friday and Saturday High 77F with low humidity. after that it's a crapshoot, but the trend is about the same as it's been. normal with a couple hot days and a few days a bit lower than normal high with storms possible a few days. Hehe, some forecast. and now a humid 75F and it's so hazy I can't tell if there's clouds up there or if it's so moist that the sky takes on a blueish white tone.
