It's cold and everyone is in a hurry. You drive slow, not because you are enjoying the drive, it's because you are afraid of the icy road by the river. You'd never let Max and Sam know you were afraid. You and Sue used to take her dog down there at the river and talk about girl things. You wonder what happened to Sue. Is she happy? Does she still drink alot? Is Rob still good to her? You think sometimes that friends are meant to drift away like that so there is room in your life for new ones. Like little diamonds from mother earth. They should be shared. You wonder why you think the bluish grey fog is beautiful when all it means is that man is polluting our earth.
