IbanezJem
The greatest Cricketer of my lifetime, undoubtedly one of the Top 5 of all time, and I understand a lot of people here won`t know who he is - he`s Cricket`s Michael Jordan or Tom Brady. Massive presence on and off the field and will leave a chasm in the game. RIP Shane, you absolute legend. For your influence on the game, the magic you created, games where you snatched victory all on your own, you`ll never be forgotten. England`s nemesis but I didn`t really mind - we all knew we were witnessing true greatness. :rose:

treeduck
RIP Shane, the most dangerous leg spinner of them all. More dangerous than the Pakistani guys even!
yyz305
Woke up to the news. Could not believe it. Warnie certainly changed the game. Before he played, nobody wanted to bowl leg spin. In no time at all, suddenly all the young kids wanted to bowl leg spin. By far the best spin bowler we've seen. Great brain for the game. As Zepphead said, Marsh passed yesterday. Another great character, and someone else who changed the game. I'm too scared to wake up tomorrow morning!

Derek19
I've been sorry, to hear, see, and read this. They both will be missed, and remembered. My condolences, and sympathies to their families, and friends. R.I.P., Shane, and Rodney.
