Saw this article on CNN how now millennials say the laughing/crying emoji is passe, same with the ROFL. Guess if their parents use it then it's to be avoided... :D

Also a few months back I read that it is bad form to use punctuation in your texts. It makes people feel like you are being angry or judgemental. This was a bit strange to me, being labeled passive aggressive for periods at the end of the sentence?? It is a head scratcher for me.

I wonder what any TRF folks have seen about this or other stuff that "young" folks do. Comments?

I've come up with a new texting acronym that I use on my adult children and other younger people. This is at the end of the texting conversation.

 

NGCYR
