Ginger Lynn (she counts because she was on NYPD Blue)

What's this obsession with Ginger Lynn? IS she really a ginger?

Probably the best Ginger is Stephanie Powers, though there's a few more.

Hart to Hart. Yeah she was a goddess.

It was MOIDER!

Hahahaha! Ginger is not a Ginger. A blonde.

Dude, she was the first porn star I got hooked on in the mid Eighties.

Pat, you know I love blondes. I was married to one for 19 years!

A blonde called Ginger? That's blonde logic for you.

Haha!

More like "Pretzel Logic."

Love,

Steely Dan

Ginger Lynn more like Ginger Minge.

I don't know any of her "work."

Minge is a euphemism for a woman's box Earl!

Wow! So many euphemisms for a woman's box. I didn't know that one.

You learn something everyday.

Stephanie Powers therefore would have a ginger minge...unless she dyed it!

Stephanie Powers could’ve had a purple and blue one and I wouldn’t have given a shit

Confession: I watched the animated classic "Heavy Metal" the other night on blu-ray. That hot chick with the blue beaver is AWESOME!!!! That badass warrior's name is Taarna.

I remember when the film was first released, and the album. Don't they have a long-running magazine as well?

Right. The stories were taken from the mag

The record featured Blue Oyster Cult and Sammy Hagar didn't it?

Yup. You should watch if not for the soundtrack alone

Yup! And that Taarna story segment has the classic Sabbath tune “The Minge Rules”

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Good one Pat!!! Love it. I love the one with the cabbie in the city. Journey song. "Open Legs"

No that wasn't me that was JB!

Love multi-quotes. Confusing at times.

And I always thought The Fifth Element was stealing quite a bit from that cabbie story.

Question: Why the hell did Bruce Willis become a box office superstar?

Because he was coming from the popular show Moonlighting straight into the blockbuster Die Hard. After that, he did the also popular Look Who’s Talking. I think he did enough of a variety of popular movies back to back which kind of immortalized him. Not in my mind though. He’s got a JB Movie Record of 9-13

He also did that one with Kim Basinger around 1987 before Die Hard.

There's only one Treeduck.

Hey! What about me?

I've been his sidekick since 2006!! lol

Earl imagine if Nuno Bettencourt was hired by Ozzy in 1988 instead of Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt aka Zakk Wylde? He'd have been way better! They're the same age more or less too.

This is a great question my friend.

I absolutely loved Jeff on "No Rest For The Wicked" and "No More Tears." But then for me? MEH!! I would buy all the BLS stuff too which in retrospect is mediocre at best.

I remember seen Zakk open for I think it was the Scorpions.

During his guitar solo I actually had to leave my seat. It was horrible and distorted. Zakk can't sing either.

But at Generation AXE, I have gone twice and Zakk was fuckkinggg incredible.

That being said,

1. I wish Randy was able to live a long life. He would have changed the world even more.

2. Ozzy and Sharon wanted Dave Meniketti. A solid choice and I am biased as I am friends with all the Y&T cats.

3. I think Brad Gillis did one HELL of a job being selected next! I know Brad too! He's family on my ex brother in law's side. Used to talk for hours with Brad. He jams downtown Walnut Creek in my favorite dive bar sometime. We always hug and shake hands. Well not these days. lol I love Brad Pat!! Sweet man!!!

4. Getting Jake E. Lee was a brilliant move Pat. I LOVE JAKE! You know this. One of the most underrated guitar players on the Earth. The Badlands stuff kicks ass too.

5. If Sharon and Ozzy asked for Nuno's services before Zakk's I would be who? But Hell yes Pat. That's a great thought. I would take Nuno over Zakk and it's funny dude because Zakk and Nuno tour together on the Generation AXE deal.

I heard that Ozzy wanted Gary Moore but Gary wasn't having any of Sharon's bullshit. They had George Lynch waiting in the wings on the tour when Brad Gillis was in the band. He played during rehearsals and Brad was coaching him up on learning the songs. This would be like November 1982 and all of a sudden When Brad and Rudy Sarzo left they went with Jake and Don Costa on bass (who got booted out on the day of the US Festival for Bob Daisley). George said he cried all the way home.

They'd probably fire him and get a youtube guitarist from New Guinea! Then they'd fire Neal Schon even though he wasn't even in the band. They'd fire him just to make sure he was fired!

Holy shit dude! I've met Rudy twice in my life. In Quiet Riot right before Kevin passed. Did I ever tell you that Kevin and I had a very spiteful conversation about collecting Japanese cds??? We both used the same guy in Goldmine Magazine. From Detroit his name was Terrible Ted.

Ted told me way before I saw Quiet Riot near my house in some club called Bourbon Street. Saw so many shows there Pat. It was a jewel for rockers like me.

But I told Kevin that I have been using the same guy for buying all of my Japanese hard rock, jazz and metal cds. He was blown away when I mentioned Terrible Ted.

See? I am not the only crazy rocker who is addicted to Japanese cd pressings. Incredible dude!!!!! You can take Eddie Spunk and shove him up your pink trunk!! I ROCK!!!! LOL!!!

I had no idea George was waiting in the wings.

That would have been incredible too.

My top five guitar players right now

Eddie Van Halen

George Lynch

Michael Schlenker

Warren DeMartini

Wolf Hoffmann

"Furious George!" LOL! Do you have his covers cd? It's excellent.

Yeah it's not a good idea but all these 70's and 80's bands try to make the band sound like it used to even though crucial members are missing.

Where does Russ Parrish fit in?

Hahaha!

I love Racer X! He's a shredder. I'm more of a Paul Gilbert guy.

Are you thinking of Bruce Bouillet? I'm talking about Russ "Satchel" Parrish!

Oh shit! I was! Funny dude, I actually good friends with Mike Varney.
