If you convert it to the highest bit rate, you won't be able to tell a difference between that and .flac anyway.
greyfriar Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Do you use Windows? YesIn case the suggestion of snowdogged didn't work for you, try "DVD-Audio Explorer"It's an old tool from 2008 and I've read a lot of good things about it, but never tried it myself. So, no guarantee here! It should just do the job, converting the aob files to wav. I also heard that the files will be splitted into 1gb portions, which means you do not get a proper track list.
canadianice Posted November 2, 2019 Author Posted November 2, 2019 Ok guys, thanks. I got the audio extracted, but i cannot move the file to Windows media player? 1
greyfriar Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 So what do you have now? Wav, flac? Is it a single file or do you have different files of the single tracks?
canadianice Posted November 3, 2019 Author Posted November 3, 2019 It is a single file and it is mp3, i cannot seem to move to Windows media player?
greyfriar Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 It is a single file and it is mp3, i cannot seem to move to Windows media player? What does that mean "move to"? Can you play it with that player? Have you tried other players?
canadianice Posted November 4, 2019 Author Posted November 4, 2019 I can play it with that player, but i cannot sync it with any thing. such as an mp3 player for car etc.
greyfriar Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Wait.. what? Now I'm even more confused, mate. You can't cut and paste it to your mp3 player?
canadianice Posted November 4, 2019 Author Posted November 4, 2019 No, I will just wait until it is released as a cd package, hopefully sooner than later.

Mr. JD Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Maybe the problem is file size? If you extracted the entire DVD into one file it’s probably pretty big.

launchpad67a Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 I'm confused on what you're trying to do here.a) You needed to rip a dvd to an audio file. You did that.b) What next?

Tony R Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Try this: https://www.videohelp.com/software/DVD-Audio-Explorer 1
Tony R Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Remember that the audio could be in the “video” folder of the disc.
