launchpad67a
A friends band sent me a demo cd to master for them, which I do quite frequently but this one had potential but need help! For those of you who don't know what 'mastering a recording' is, well basically it's taking the final 2 track master recording and tweeking it with eq, compression, any number of tools, and making it print and radio quality/friendly. Mastering is Not mixing...I did not mix this recording. Anyhow, I use Steinberg Wavelab for most of my mastering and it never fails to amaze me!! Here is the before and after of one of their tunes. I like it. The Original Song as sent to me. The Re-Mastered Song with Wavelab.
