I am in the heart of the protests. It makes me sick being a small business owner. Seeing children who don't even have the right to vote skip school to voice their silent voices.

Stupid, ignorant humans who are destroying small businesses in Oakland instead of wanting to support the American Dream.

Makes me sick buddy.

 

My 16 year old daughter boarded a plane today to go to AZ to play a club soccer showcase to get seen by college coaches from around the country. She is missing two days of school.

 

My little amazing girl isn't cutting school to hang out with a bunch of clueless dumbed downed children protesting for something they are too young to understand.

 

Even my daughter told me today as I drove her to the airport, "I can't believe I know some of those kids. They are irrelevant to me."

 

I am so lucky and so blessed.

I went to Yoshi's last night!! I saw HIROMI! THE TRIO PROJECT!!! Simon Phillips was on the drums!!!

It was incredible dude!!!

 

Hiromi is the greatest living piano player on the planet. I was so lucky to see that show last night but my point was it was quite ironic.

 

Here I am sitting in a high end sushi joint watching a show surrounded by a bunch of musicians, intellects and successful human beings, yet less than one mile away the idiots and the uneducated were on the freeway and the streets of Oakland protesting.

Starting fires. Burning cars.

Laying down on streets. Broadway was blocked off Pat. I saw it all with my own eyes.

It's a disgrace but it is what it is!

 

When I left Yoshi's I high tailed it out of there in my Audi. God Forbid I'm successful!!

 

I saw the entire Oakland Police Force parked on overpasses as I headed for the freeway home.

 

Scary shit man.

 

I drove right the fuckk through it.

 

Safe.

 

I am sure if Hillary had won the race there would be none of this crap on the streets of America.

 

Hey!

 

It's Veteran's Day!

 

Perhaps all of American could actually shut the fukk up and thank a Vet for their service.

 

I thank a Vet or a man or woman in service daily for their duty.

So back on topic.

 

Despite me shedding tears in the theater there would be no doubt that I would have loved to see it again in the theater.

 

I was actually very bummed about the turn out.

 

Alas it was worthy of seeing in the theater. Worthy seeing it again.
