I hate to harsh the very cool vibe of this thread but please be careful. Hedgehogs are nocturnal animals so if he's out during the day he might be sick. I recommend keeping a distance of at least 20 feet just for safety's sake.

The local gamekeeper told me how lucky I was to have the little fella show up. The gamekeeper is about two decades older than me and says he has never had the privilege of seeing a hedgehog. He says they eat the slugs in the garden and if I put some minced meat out they'll eat that too. Then we started talking about Badgers and how vicious they were......I love how the people are in our village. Very friendly and always have something interesting to say. I don't want to move!

I saw one of those in the pet store. Being the curious dude that I am, I tried to see what that "coat" felt like. Yeah...don't do that. Edited by ILSnwdog
