Hedgehogs are nocturnal animals so if he's out during the day he might be sick. Dweezil Posted October 8, 2016 Author Share Posted October 8, 2016 The local gamekeeper told me how lucky I was to have the little fella show up. The gamekeeper is about two decades older than me and says he has never had the privilege of seeing a hedgehog. He says they eat the slugs in the garden and if I put some minced meat out they'll eat that too. Then we started talking about Badgers and how vicious they were......I love how the people are in our village. Very friendly and always have something interesting to say.
