  3. I got their album today...SO EASY to like it!!!! I'll write a review and interview Mr. Kotzen next week!
  4. The new lineup has guys from Snarky Puppy and other bands. They did a live stream and sounded TIGHT!
  5. She shut down THAT lineup, but the new one is killer!
  6. Just finished my chat with Steve, and he was very cool. One of the funniest lines he said was about playing with Satriani, Vai and Petrucci on the G3 tours: "It was like jumping naked in a pool while having a micro penis"
  7. So many! And there are a few ones you asked me about recently. These ones come to mind: Uriah Heep, Budgie, Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Krokus...
  8. Earl asked me to post this pic! A belated Happy Birthday to you, man!!!
  9. Who's on drums here? It sounds A LOT like Greg Bissonette. It is! Cool! I have Greg's solo album, and there's a fill he uses on this song which is exactly like one he used on his solo album, so that's how I recognized it. He's on Steve's new album as well!
  10. Who's on drums here? It sounds A LOT like Greg Bissonette.
  11. The album is pretty good! I've been frantically collecting some "intel" on him, because the interview was discussed only today, and confirmed for MONDAY. I have 45 minutes with him.
  12. Steve Lukather from Toto has a new solo album, which comes out on February 26th. Here's the title track: I'll interview him next week, and I'm excited for that!!! Let me know if you have questions for him!
  13. Metal with a "heritage flavour", for lack of a better definition, is indeed awesome. From Sepultura mixing thrash with the rhythm of the Brazilian tribes on Roots, to Angra mixing beats from the Northeast of Brazil on Holy Land, The Hu adding the Mongolian influence, and Alien Weaponry inserting the Maori culture into metal elements. I love it!!
  14. Bumping the thread to post my interview with Symphony X's drummer Jason Rullo: https://www.sonicperspectives.com/interviews/interview-with-jason-rullo/
