    ALL OF THEM!
  1. That was a totally awesome show for sure. I think my voice is now finally back;) As Ged stated, they left it all on the stage. Loved Alex's grin and animations, he was having a blast! Ged was spot on and his voice I thought sounded really good. Neil was superb as usual and it was so cool feeling his thundering drums reverberating through my chilled bones! The Gorge has an awesome huge screen behind Neil and some of the close in shots of all 3 were just amazing. 21 rows back and I didn't need the screen but it was nice. Place was packed and the gorge was absolutely spectacular, as usual. If you have never been to this venue and you have the chance, don't miss it! It's one of the best on the west coast hands down. JC, great video's, killer actually. Do you have more? I'd love any and all that you have, your setup is great! Glad I got to see their last show of 2011 and it was worth seeing them both times near Seattle. DAMN, can't believe the tour is over but we'll hopefully all get to see them after the new CD and subsequent tour! All is right with the world when you're a RUSH fan!!! HAS
  2. My bud and I will be in 102 row 21, can't wait to see the LAST SHOW ON THIS TOUR! Beautiful venue, sure it's hot/dusty but all in all, one of the best venues in the state of WA. We are camping for the weekend so the party will be ON! RUSH ROCKS!!!
  3. But I must help my mother stand up straight! [i too love this song and album, very powerful]

    Fear

Have always loved this Trilogy, all 3 are awesome songs and I go back and forth as to which song I love the best. Even love the keyboards in the Weapon! HAS
  5. Saw them in Seattle and can't believe the tour is over. I really wanted to make a second show, but just couldn't justify the cost/travel (especially since they didn't play in Vancouver). Damn, how do you feel "satisfied" with seeing only one show? Those of you that have seen several shows on this tour, maybe you do but c'mon. As soon as the lights came on after the final note, I was sad and wanted to recreate the whole concert experience again! You know what is cool about reading all your thoughts? It brings a big smile to my face. It makes me treasure the fact that I have followed the boys since the beginning, thanks to my nextdoor neighbor who told me I had to buy their debut album many, many years ago Soooo cool to hear that many of you went to see them for the first time this tour, VERY cool! How many other longtime bands can boast this? Who knows how many albums/tours we will get to see... But I just cherish everything they do. From the past to what is new. Can't wait for the new album and subsequent tour! LONG LIVE RUSH!!! Hatchet/Ax/Saw
  6. So awesome to see/hear all three speaking...thanks! Geddy: "look at those glasses eating my entire face!!!"
  7. Wow, reading all your reviews and comments from the Lone Star state is making me sad now that it's been almost two months since the boys played in Seattle. I want to see them again! Can't believe that anyone can find anything negative about these guys. They are playing the best they ever have and their sound has evolved into nothing but perfection! "Masters of their own domain!" Love that!!! HAS
  8. QUOTE (librarian @ Sep 7 2010, 01:01 PM)It all went so fast. It was like planning for a wedding - purchased my tickets back in April and waiting and planning then Blam! it happened and it's over and frankly, I'm a little depressed. I know what you mean Librarian. So much build-up, so much anticipation and the actual concert goes by waaay too fast I'm thrilled that these guys are still playing and rocking as awesome as ever so this glass is definitely half full!
  9. QUOTE (LedZep @ Sep 1 2010, 05:15 PM)The photographer who takes these photos is a very nice guy named John Arrowsmith. I would imagine that he has some financial stake in the photos (that's my assumption). If you really like a couple, purchase them. It's not expensive, and you're paying someone for their great work. Whoa, I wasn't trying to imply that this "work around" is a viable alternative to purchasing the photo's. I definitely support this guys work and he deserves to be paid. I wanted an electronic copy of one photo for my desktop, and that is where I was coming from. HAS
  10. Awesome read, thanks! So cool to read that Alex feels they are playing at their peak!!! I would agree:)
  11. Wow, interesting "discussion" to say the least... To me this all boils down to "enjoying the concert/RUSH experience!" Me, I don't want to miss a single second of each song! It's simple, you don't do things at a concert that detracts from others enjoyment. You don't get in fights cuz people are standing in front of you and you can't see. You don't get so drunk that you're spitting in ppl's faces and spilling beer on their shoes. And you don't scam by squeezing into a row where you don't belong, regardless of whether you're a cute girl or not. You might think it's not bothering anyone but encroaching on ppl's space is probably an issue 98% of the time and most ppl just plain think it's rude. Switching seats with someone is fine becuz it doesn't cause a scene. I won't touch the "who spent what" for argument. There are always ppl in the front row that are more concerned with texting than the concert. Too bad but it's their loss, one that they'll never realize... My GAWD, when I'm at a RUSH concert I just wanna enjoy the band and it pisses me off when ppl are aholes and try to ruin it for me. So, be considerate, sit in the seat for the stub you are holding, and don't ruin MY experience. I am not ruining yours!!! HAS
  12. Damn java-script can be pesky when they lock it down. I've searched high/low looking for a right-click save as tweak. As others have said, screen clipping/capture tools seem to be the only thing that works. At least for me;) For grins, has anyone purchased some of these pics? And was it worth it?
  13. I would certainly hope that they'd release the whole show, all songs from this tour. One of the coolest aspects of that is watching the DVD and remembering how awesome the concert was, wherever you saw them! Great memories!!!
  14. AWESOME if true! Hey, RUSH is smart enuf to realize that putting out a DVD each tour is not only profitable, but smart for the fans!
  15. I have gone from one fav song to another with this album. Imo this is a sleeper album. I always loved Big Money, then it was Manhattan Project, then Mystic Rhythms, but I'd still have to say that Marathon has just a great feel to it. And as one poster said, it's Geddy at his best! It's not the most meaningful (lyric-wise) but I just wanna jam to it...
