  • Best Rush Experience
My best Rush experience? It was camping out overnight in a Sears parking lot with friends in an attempt to purchase tickets for the Chicago stop of the 'Hold Your Fire' tour. It was the dead of winter and we were absolutely freezing but we didn't care. We stayed up all night listening to every Rush album and talking about what their music meant to us. We met some cool people that night with whom we drank homemade Swedish glogg and smoked "tobacco" of dubious origin. We scored some great seats for the opening night show on 2/25/88. 23 years later I can still recall that cold, Chicago winter night like it was yesterday... good times!

  1. Nice videos! I'm counting the days until the live CD & DVD are released...
  2. Two more videos are up: La Villa Strangiato - Working Man -
  3. Oracle has spoken. Check out Victor Wooten playing 'Amazing Grace': The man is bass incarnate. By the way, Geddy is the "best" of those three.

  5. Great find! Two of my favorite things together at last!
  6. 'Superconductor' from Presto. I love the opening groove.

This was my first Rush concert since the Test For Echo tour. Now I can't wait for Clockwork Angels and the tour that follows!!
  8. Thanks again, everybody--I'm glad you all like the videos. It's a real kick to share them and get positive feedback. This has defintely kept my post-concert buzz alive. @Arndrake: Same here, there was so much pot smoke in the air. It was funny to me how it was especially heavy during the older tracks from Moving Pictures and 2112. @Patty: You made me laugh today--so happy you like the videos as much as you do! Live performances by Rush are a great addiction. Just wait until I upload La Villa Strangiato and Working Man! By the way, in case you haven't seen it I uploaded Marathon, one of my personal favorites! Rush at The Gorge (July 2, 2011): Marathon:
  9. I added '2112 Overture / The Temples Of Syrinx'
  10. Thanks for the welcomes and positive feedback, everyone! Here is 'YYZ' for your listening and viewing pleasure!
  11. Video #2 is up! Rush at The Gorge (7/2/11): The Camera Eye
  12. Hello fellow fans! This is my first post here. I've been a fan since the mid 80s. My first concert was during the 'Hold Your Fire' tour and that's also my favorite album to this day. I've seen them 6 times with the 6th time being the last stop on the Time Machine Tour just two days ago in George, WA. The show was amazing! I'm looking forward to sharing a few videos with you all. Here's the first: Rush at The Gorge (7/2/11): Neil Peart's Drum Solo I'll post more as I upload them (the files are huge). I'm looking forward to being an active member on the site! ~JC
