The Seeker?...I've already found Rush, and I am complete. Oh well, cool icon anyway. Power Windows is one of my favorites too.

And now for something completely irrelevant...my 100th post.

Tosh.0 is epic win, watched every episode on-demand that I didn't see aired. Daniel is one of my favorites.

QUOTE (CMWriter @ Nov 30 2010, 06:45 PM) They're a touring band, as we all know.. That's how they got popular in the first place (well.. at least, that's how they got their first fans) and that's how they're continuing to get new fans from newer generations! Think how many people have said that going to a Rush concert pretty much MADE them a fan. That means those same fans will go out and buy songs (really, it's so much easier than trying to find free versions online).. So in the end I think it's all good. Like I've said on other threads, I can wait. I can be patient. Maybe touring really IS the best thing for them. They obviously still immensely enjoy performing live -- why deny them? This is how I became a fan as well. Thanks for pointing out the TRUTH! -

QUOTE (ghostworks @ Nov 23 2010, 02:06 PM) And that was the last time Martin worked with T'n'A. I'm surprised he left such an "employee/employer friendly" business.

That was amazing to see again. I remember it so vividly. Thank you for posting this. As you can see that was my only stop on the Time Machine, so It was very special to me. What made it even more special is that it was my first concert after becoming a fan; the previous one my dad took me to and I liked it, but I didn't know Rush. This time I did. Funniest part was about 5:12 in the LVS vid. Look at all of Lerxst's "O" faces! One of my favorite things was when The Dirk addressed us after TSOR, (not shown in vid ) he said hi, and "...thank you so much for braving the sweltering heat for us. (83 with matching humidity) We're gonna sweat, you're gonna sweat, what the hell, lets sweat!!" That was awesome. Its like he was saying "We're gonna rock, and you're gonna love it!!" or "We're feeling just as shitty as you are , so let's make the best of it." He really connected with us. -

QUOTE (Tigershark2112 @ Jun 24 2010, 01:48 PM)I just have this fiery hatred for anything pop-related. As soon as I see or hear it I just get irritated automatically. I can't stand watching these girls use their sex appeal and horrible voices to make money while everyone around them thinks they're gods. This x100000 I cant stand anything popular now, of any genre.
