  1. It was simply their superior sound. Specifically the songs Freewill, TSOR, Red Barchetta, Tom Sawyer, Limelight, and YYZ. After hearing those, I was instantly hooked. Have been for nearly 30 years.
  2. Wouldn't shock me if it were Donna Halper. Would be really fitting.
  3. Heard a good point made on the radio the other day. He's basically contemplating getting rid of kickoffs to protect 4th and 5th-string no-bodies who chose to play pro football for close to or at the minimum wage for the sport. Very few stars play on the kickoff or kick return teams....so to protect a bunch of scrubs he's going to basically make a fundamental change to the sport, and remove perhaps the most exciting play in the game? What's next? Punts?
  4. Do you know what the difference is between the one disk Blu-ray version and the more spendy two disk regular version? Probably no difference in content, just the type of player you need.
  5. Yep, that's pretty much what they're like.... If you really, really want to see and hear what they're like as people, I would urge you to get "Beyond the Lighted Stage" DVD which is basically a documentary of their entire career as a band. It is awesome and incredibly well done....here's the link to it on Amazon: Rush - Beyond the Lighted Stage
  6. This typically lasts until around age 14 when they realize it is no longer cool to listen to the same music as your parents do. My 15-yr old, who can play bass, lead guitar, and drums, has migrated over into Metallica, Slipknot, and Lamb of God. Rush is still on the list, but is currently tied for third with Lamb of God.
  7. 2112? Working Man? Subdivisions? Tom Sawyer?
  8. Billy Corgan AND Jack Black.
  9. People -please. Everyone needs to friggin' relax. Strings or not, it's going to be a concert. They know what they're doing, and it's going to be fine...
