  1. It's been a really long time since I've seen the movie, but isn't the symbol at 9:00 the symbol for the angel Uziel (at least as put forth in the movie The Prophecy)? I thought I remember that - or something similar - being the tattoo on the dead angel's neck - and in that old Bible. I guess it would fit in with the album title.
  2. Nobody? If nobody here wants it, I can put it up on StubHub or Ebay, but I'd much rather it go to someone from here that I know is a fan, and at cost. Anyone?
  3. If anyone needs one, I have ONE ticket for Mohegan Sun. It is floor section 5, row G (seating chart: http://www.mohegansun.com/entertainment/ar...ting-popup.html). I don't want a penny over what I paid; the ticket plus TicketBastard charges total $113.35. I got this ticket in the presale, so I don't have the physical ticket in hand yet, but it should arrive a few weeks prior to the show, at least. Does anyone need one ticket for that show? If so, please reply here or PM me. Edited to correct URL.
  4. QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ May 24 2010, 06:19 PM) oh...okay? Why? You need a floor seat? Dave wouldn't mind, I'm sure.
  5. QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ May 24 2010, 03:49 PM) ?? Did you find a better seat? It's a long story that I will explain one day. Suffice it to say that in the end, I wound up with 4 seats and 3 people attending.
  6. QUOTE (different strings @ May 13 2010, 04:16 AM) Thanks and I am doing that but so far nothing like what I am after. There are a couple of possibilities on EBAY but I need to be quite close to justify me coming all this way. How close do you need to be? In the first few rows? It's looking like I have an extra ticket to Mohegan Sun. It's the 2nd section back, so not right up near the stage, but on the floor, not too far back. It's section 5, row G. http://www.gotickets.com/venues/ct/mohegan_sun_arena.php I'm not sure how many rows are in section 1, but that would be in the ballpark of 27th row or so. Would that be good enough, or do you need to be right up on the stage?
  7. Vegas ain't got no Krispy Kreme.
  8. QUOTE (lyndale2112 @ May 8 2010, 08:41 PM) Lerxst69, Got that mate, check yours too. Could anyone point us in the direction of the Cheers bar from the tv show. Would be nice to have a beer in there at some point before the show. Thanks. It depends on which you mean. There is a bar called Cheers in Faneuil Hall Marketplace. It is a thematic place, but has no other relation to it. http://www.cheersboston.com/pub/main_home.html And then there's the Bull and Finch Pub, which is where the exterior shots were in the show, but different from the set from the show. http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel/North...heers-BR-1.html
  9. It wouldn't surprise me if someone here wanted them....depending on how good the seats are, I guess. Otherwise, eBay them or StubHub them (at face value, if you ask me). I doubt you'd be stuck with them unless you wait until the last minute.
  10. Sometimes, it's just good timing. That front row seat I have in my pic above was face value. In fact, funny story: In the first presale (Mastercard, maybe?), I got 15th row. Awesome, right? In the MusicToday presale, I got 10th row. No way I'd beat that, right? Just for shits and giggles, I checked out the general sale. About 1/2 hr into the general sale, I pulled that up. I never paid a penny above face value for any ticket I've gotten. Of course, you won't always be that lucky; I probably never will again. I'm just saying that it's possible to score good seats without overpaying.

  12. If you're flying into Logan, the venue is very close; in fact, it's a short cab ride under a tunnel to get there. I'm not familiar with hotels in the area, but here's a link that might help: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&um=1&ie=...ved=0CB0QtQMwAA You'll see the airport, and the venue is listed as "Boston Garden," right at the end of the 1/93 bridge. It looks like the 2 closest hotels are the Hilton Garden Inn and the Onyx Hotel. I've never stayed at either, so I can't vouch for them, but I have stayed at Garden Inns in the past, and I've been fairly pleased with them. If you care to meet up with other TRFers, check out the thread for that venue in this section. Good luck with your shows!
  13. QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 22 2010, 08:58 PM) Not Rush, but my tenth-grade English teacher listened to the Police: "We are spirits In the material world" and she heard: "Oscar Lee You ate all my cereal" Since we're on the topic of misheard Police lyrics, the other day, Canary in a Coalmine came on the radio, and my gf asked if they said "Put Larry in a Coma." Listen to it. She has a point.
  14. QUOTE (EmotionDetector @ Apr 22 2010, 02:11 PM) "The sky is BITCHING...violently" Do you mean "This guy is bitching violently?"
  15. QUOTE (shaun3701 @ Apr 22 2010, 02:06 PM) "....the BITCHES that give pleasure to your eyes!" Isn't it "the bitches that you plug into your eyes?" It was in that misheard lyrics 2112 video.
  16. I don't happen to have any, but you might check out these: http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3...-All-Categories http://www.stubhub.com/rush-tickets/rush-m...-3-2010-954215/ http://www.ticketsnow.com/InventoryBrowse/...ukee?PID=968620 Surely someone will have some for near face value.
  17. QUOTE (hazlnut @ Apr 20 2010, 04:07 PM)I'll have to try the pubic sale And what exactly do they sell at a pubic sale?
  18. Damn. Looking at Ebay, it seems it would be financially worth my while to auction my tix. Worse seats are going for like a grand. Nah. Think I'll keep 'em. How do these people get these tickets, anyway? There's a guy with 2 sets of 4 in the front sections. What gives?
  19. QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ Apr 19 2010, 06:03 PM) nope, nothing involving the NE shows Then what good are you?
  20. QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ Apr 19 2010, 11:21 AM) replied in a PM - don't want to give away information to any brokers who might be perusing the forum for presale information If it involves New England shows, share the love. I like PMs.
  21. QUOTE (ADesignForRush @ Apr 14 2010, 02:27 PM) Ticketmaster only offered will call... I have a problem now. My mum is buying me a ticket using her card... she isn't going to be there at the show with me. How f***ing stupid. That might be a problem. It really depends on that particular box office. Sometimes, you just show them ID and so long as the name is right, you get in. Others will make you show them the actual credit card used for purchase. For what it's worth, most places will allow you to call and let someone else pick them up, so long as you call in advance. Just have her call and say you'll be picking them up.
  22. QUOTE (Janie @ Apr 13 2010, 05:40 PM) How were you able to buy non-VIP pre-sale tickets to the Seattle show?? http://www.livenation.com/edp/eventId/420992 Seems like you need a Citi card.
  23. QUOTE (GoverP @ Apr 13 2010, 05:22 PM) Okay, so at exactly 11AM EST I jumped onto Livenation/Ticketmaster and purchased 2 VIP Tickets for the 07/05 Chicago show for $325 a piece (pricey I know). When the tickets come up, me, being as punctual as ever, assumed that I would have the one of the first 1-10 rows without a problem. Wrong! Row Q (which would make the seats row 18) is what I end up with and I figure there must be a heck of lot of Rush fans quicker than I. But then thanks to some searching I come to find that not only does is the VIP package supposed to include a seat between rows 1-15, but that non-VIP tickets in the same section will be going for about 1/3 of that. The sole reason I purchased the damn package (and so early at that) was to get the best possible seats (I really don't need all the extra stuff that comes with the package, I figured "VIP" implied the best possible seats). Should I contact TM and figure out what is going on? I am going to be furious to find out that in a few days when general public tickets go on sale, that 1st row seats will be sold at 1/3 of the price for what I paid for 17 rows behind. Was I wrong to assume the best seats would be available? Talk to Ticketmaster if you were promised something you didn't get. If the deal guarantees you the first 15 rows, but you're in 18, you have a leg to stand on. If the deal says something like "first section," "first 18 rows," or a vague "best seats available," you probably have no recourse.
  24. QUOTE (GoverP @ Apr 13 2010, 04:39 PM) Where is the link to where it mentions this information? I bought two VIP tickets for the Chicago show, but I am in row Q, which would technically put me at row 17, correct? According to the seating chart, it looks that way. http://www.ticketsolutions.com/sc-charteronepavilion.asp
