I was kinda hoping you´d show up in this topic, mate! Didn´t you have a picture of the King in your avatar until recently? I just read a new interview he did for a Brazilian mag called Roadie Crew, and his new album will have a story that goes on at a hospital - he thought about it as he was recovering from his surgery. Sounds like an awesome album is in the works! All Hail the King!!! :haz: :haz: Haha, good memory, my old avatar was indeed King. I remember seeing the video for The Family Ghost and being scared shitless of his look and that voice! But once "Them" came out I was hooked. I've always felt that King's stories are better than most of the crap that's considered horror films today and I'm still waiting for someone to make a movie from one of the albums. Why this hasn't happened is beyond me. It would be awesome! I rank King up there with Halford and Dickinson when it comes to the best vocalist in metal. I know many people hate his voice, but there's no denying the man can sing! Seems like a nice down to Earth guy too, patiently awaiting a tour.

Even though I don't consider AC/DC metal, I like that you're showing some love for the vastly underrated Fly On The Wall! Yeah Fly on the Wall is a solid album. Flick of a Switch is even better! Flick is my fave Johnson album! -

I wish Tom would leave now and Kerry would be fukked! That douche is the main reason I don't listen to Slayer anymore- he's such an asshole I can't stand him.Jeff Hanneman was always the better guitarist anyways, and he wrote Slayer's best songs. The last few albums have all been shit as their basically Kerry King solo album. -

Nah man, he's a terrible guitarist. Butchers every solo he plays, and never fit in with Maiden. I mean he's good OUTSIDE of maiden :laughing guy:

Nice! I was gonna go just to see Overkill. Might have to go to Opeth instead. Town Ballroom is a great venue to see shows, better than Water Street or The Armory ;)
-
That's a great show! Love Bob Seger!!
-
I think the last album I bought or even cared about was Youthanasia.

This was the end of the classic lineup. Smith left and it was all downhill from there!

Dillinger Escape Plan takes the expression shitty fukkin band to a whole new level. :P :laughing guy: Going through a full studio album is quite painful, but I liked the energy on stage when I saw them. But I fully understand if you hate them... They're just not my cup of tea, but I like a lot of bands that most would hate too.
