  1. QUOTE (tick @ Feb 7 2011, 12:16 PM) Here ya go ladies! http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii324/jawkjaw/double%20s%20pro/4750067838_abcd13429b_z1.jpg commence your drooling! Now u know what he looks like when taking a dump, or giving you a facial.
  2. Who here is a lesbian? Not that anything is wrong with it, but just curious. Please state your favourite Rush guy is based on attractibility, and would you sleep with him if the opportunity arose (no pun). Srs
  3. I don't think its necessary for geddy to throw in a "f*ck" or "motherf*cker" for every single interview he does. Sounds like he's only trying to convey that he's hardcore. Anyway, this is just more "spirited" talk in regard to Clockwork Angels..
  4. I hated this album and its depressing drone. The supporting tour was a real snoozer, as I remember.
  5. Rush are really on cruise control. At this point it would be too hard for them to walk away from easy, significant income procured by touring.
  6. QUOTE (laughedatbytime @ Apr 17 2011, 07:58 PM) QUOTE (GeminiRising79 @ Apr 17 2011, 07:43 PM) QUOTE (laughedatbytime @ Apr 15 2011, 09:14 PM) It's posts like those above that give me an almost immeasurable level of empathy for what Neil has to go through just to practice his craft at the highest level and entertain millions of people. Wow. The ass-sucking fanboyism seen in this forum has no limit. Yes, because not wanting to see someone stalked is the height of fanboidom. I would say the same thing about Justin Bieber (well, not the part about practicing his craft at the highest level), and I despise his "music". You would see the opposite reaction unfold from Neil if he were ignored by all. He really isn't complex at all.

  8. QUOTE (Oracle @ Apr 2 2011, 01:00 PM) This is not a bad idea at all, but as one whole box? No way. Would weigh too much and would probably be near one grand in price! An idea stated earlier seems to work, but here's what I imagine. Box 1 (1974-1978) Rush Fly By Night Caress of Steel 2112 All The World's A Stage A Farewell to Kings Hemispheres Box 2 (1980-1989) Permanent Waves Moving Pictures Exit...Stage Left Signals Grace Under Pressure Power Windows Hold Your Fire A Show of Hands Presto Box 3 (1991-1998) Roll The Bones Counterparts Test For Echo Different Stages Box 4 (2002-2008) Vapor Trails Rush In Rio Feedback R30 Snakes And Arrows Snakes And Arrows Live Of course, with the length of 'Different Stages', I could just see the first two discs being on vinyl and not the third. 'Rio' would be a monster if it were on vinyl; same with 'S&A Live'. If it were just the studio albums, I wouldn't mind buying them. Box 4 would undoubtedly be referred to as the sh!t box.
  9. QUOTE (hughes&kettner @ Mar 31 2011, 11:46 AM) QUOTE (GeminiRising79 @ Mar 31 2011, 11:14 AM) Love ya, Alex, but please get yourself in better physical shape (lose the weight) and get some sleep! A concerned friend stupid post Expressing concern of a Rush member's a bad thing? Btw, H&K makes the best wall of sound speakers out there.
  10. QUOTE (tripdad @ Mar 31 2011, 11:13 AM) Sorry, but I thought that was a terrible review. The writer wasn't reviewing the show he was reviewing his interpretation of the fan's opinion or reaction at the show. How many times did he say, "rush fans" or "they". I expect a review of the show, not of the fans. Agreed. It was almost like a heresay review.
  11. Love ya, Alex, but please get yourself in better physical shape (lose the weight) and get some sleep! A concerned friend
  12. Atwas (my first intro to Rush) had numerous parts where I misheard lyrics: By-tor....my-a-goodness! (knight of darkness) squares for battle...lithuanian!
  13. Has he considered hitting on some helium before certain lines?
  14. I'm looking for the black satin jacket, circa '79-80, with the orange-red starman on the back. Gave it away to a hot chick in '82!
  15. I wear my vintage shirts to the gym and I'm sure nobody has any idea since they're so young.
  16. Rush is no doubt one of the greatest, despite Neil being the Yoko Ono of the band over the past 10 or so years.
  17. QUOTE (Ancient Ways @ Feb 11 2011, 08:45 PM) It's an angrier, more obscene, and clique-ish rush board. That forum is like a viper's pit, but some of them with their British humor are truly funny.
  18. QUOTE (troutman @ Jan 24 2011, 01:56 PM) QUOTE (usb_connector @ Jan 24 2011, 09:23 AM)QUOTE (GeminiRising79 @ Jan 24 2011, 01:18 PM) QUOTE (usb_connector @ Jan 24 2011, 01:09 PM) QUOTE (GeminiRising79 @ Jan 23 2011, 10:58 PM) Who in the public eye is going to admit theyve done any drug more than a few times? Just off the top of my head, The Beatles (LSD), Black Sabbath (coke), Slash from Guns 'N Roses (heroin). But Rush are Canadian and would never admit to over-indulgence! Based on what fact? Obviously that's a lie!! Certainly you remember Alex in bed with his wife on the RIR video talking on the phone about his over indulgence the previous night right? Lol. Vino or cheese, days of these.

  20. QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Jan 24 2011, 12:08 PM) QUOTE (GeminiRising79 @ Jan 23 2011, 10:58 PM) Who in the public eye is going to admit theyve done any drug more than a few times? I know there's plenty more but that's the first band that came to mind right away. If Geddy says that they were high when they wrote COS like he did on BTLS, I wouldn't read to much into the lyrical meaning's because they were more than likely written while Neil was trippin balls. I agree. Or at least he was writing them when he was a regular user, between uses.
  21. QUOTE (Mr. Krinkle @ Jan 24 2011, 10:47 AM) http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll215/TPesch2112/NeilPeartsdrums015.jpg Thanks, Mr Krinkle. I've seen that before Imo, this dispels any theory that "43" alludes to a random, rhyming number.
  22. QUOTE (theredtamasrule @ Jan 23 2011, 04:30 PM) Good lord. It's a cask of wine or some other spirit. This is the kind of thing that makes Neil's fan paranoia easy to understand. Neil's paranoia will never be easy to understand. He's confused himself with too much introspection, imo. You dig too deep, you burn yourself.
  23. And Ted Nugent states he's never touched one drug. I believe that 100%.. Who in the public eye is going to admit theyve done any drug more than a few times?
