  1. Here are some photos from the Austin Show. I also included a couple of pics of the t-shirt I caught that Geddy threw out. Enjoy http://s1281.photobu...035111759069623
  2. I got Section 2 (center section) row 3. We were directly in front of Geddy's microphone.
  3. Did they e-mail information regarding where to pick up the tickets (i.e. a certain booth at the venue)? Or just assume the tickets are at will call? Thanks in advance. One week to opening night in Austin!!! :Alex: :Neil: :geddy:
  4. Thank you for the information. Looks like I got really lucky grabbing those tickets.
  5. I scrambled to the Music today pre-sale and grabbed 3rd row geddy side. Low number seats. Anyone know how the floor seat numbers start in each section for the Metro Centere?
  6. Anyone know what the password is? 2013Rush is not working.
  7. I know there is really no way to tell. I'm curious if the VIP tickets are assigned based on when you select the number you want (when the 10 min countdown clock starts to complete the purchase). Or when the purchase is complete (when you receive the email). I'm trying the VIP this leg since most people were very satisfied last time. Logged in the second they went on sale. Austin, TX - email time of 12:00:26 Halifax, NS - email time of 10:00:32
  8. Go, please...Nova Scotia is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I got to deliver there 3 times, back when I drove for Club Car. Nova Scotia RULES!!!Go to Cape Breton if possible, for breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. You got the ocean, farmland, rolling hills, forests, and mountains all rolled into one province. It's a poor province, and a lot of people don't have jobs, but they're super friendly. My best trucking memories are from Nova Scotia. Plus, if you go in June or July, it gets daylight at 4am and doesn't get dark until 11pm and the temps are very cool. Oh yeah, don't forget about Digby...super huge scallops there ....yum yum. I'm going to take your advice. I grabbed a couple of VIP tickets the second they went on sale today. My wife and I will trade the Texas July heat for a nice 2 week vacation in Nova Scotia. And see RUSH of course.
  9. :rush: is coming to the Metro Centre!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQNzwUP3T2k
  10. I'm hoping the dates for the second part of the North American tour will be released soon. Since they will finish up in Europe on June 10th and assuming they take a two week break after that; they should start back up in late June. I'm really wanting to see when they will play Halifax. I've been to many places in the beautiful country of Canada; but never Nova Scotia. Hoping they play there anytime late June to early August (vacation + see RUSH or see RUSH + vacation either way it's win-win)!!! Anyone else here thinking of going to Halifax to see RUSH?
  11. I just checked the VIP Nation site. The only one showing sold out is Austin.
  12. I took your advice Snaked and went for the VIP. Now as the prophet Petty once said "The waiting is the hardest part".
  13. Since we have two options today for pre-sales (VIP Nation and musictoday), just curious which one is favored. I'm leaning towards VIP Nation; but I have a problem having to wait three months to find out exactly where I'll be sitting. Which one will you choose?
  14. My wife just called me all excited. She heard on a local radio station that RUSH would play the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX on Tuesday, April 23. I guess it’s plausible, but I figured with them being inducted in the RRHoF on April 18, they would be playing more West coast dates and places like Vegas. Still, if it is true.... :Alex: :Neil: :geddy:
  15. I had slightly better luck. I sent the CA cd booklet and the CA tour book to San Antonio. I got them both back. Neil and Alex signed the booklet, no Geddy. Geddy and Alex signed the tour book, no Neil. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy with the items and I understand that the guys are not always on hand at the same time to sign stuff. But, I was hoping to get all three signatures on each item. I thought I might send them to one of the venues next year when they tour North America and ask for the missing signature. My wife says that might piss them off. Or I might send several different things to different venues and try my luck that way. What would you guys suggest? Thanks in advance to all that reply.
  16. It might be worth it to try and get Showtech to mail you the M&G passes (with tracking number) next time around versus picking them up at the venue. If you let them know what show you will be attending, they should be able to provide them to you ahead of time.
  17. I spoke with a lady at the AT&T center. She said it was RUSH promoters that requested the change. No disposable or point-and-shot cameras are allowed. No other information. She did say cell phones with cameras are ok.
  18. Anyone else get this email? We are looking forward to seeing you at the Rush concert tomorrow night! Unfortunately, our camera policy has changed at the last minute and we wanted to be sure and let you know as soon as possible. The production company has asked that all cameras be prohibited from the event. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. 19. Where any jerseys sold at the show? I've been collecting all of the baseball/cricket jerseys since R30; and was hoping they would have one for the CA tour. I went ahead and snagged the Trucker Longsleeve from the BSC (seemed the closest to a jersey). Thanks in advance.
  20. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 7 2012, 06:25 PM)According to RUSHinNH's tweet, they played a song called "Wow" before "Analog Kid." I don't know that one. First album? I think that was the B side of Working Man.
  21. QUOTE (GuggsDeWar @ Jun 10 2012, 10:07 AM)With all the excitment on receiving the fanpack , opening it , placing the cd in the player pressing play and mulling over the "extras" , i totally forgot about the keyring. This seemes to be missing from the pack.Has anybody else found this or is it just me. Yep. The keyring was also missing in mine. To make matters worse, whoever put the magazine in the pack caught the front cover on the edge of the CD holder and ripped it. Sent an email and awaiting a response.
