I also have a HYF balloon that I got when it fell from the ceiling back on the 88 tour. Like this one? http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u351/Discipleoflerxst/100_5831.jpg God, that's it... as horrid as I remember it to be. Had a Van Halen one too. Don't feel bad. I bought one at the Cow Palace. Grace Under Pressure tour. http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa122/Perchance/100_2247.jpg -

Well they just played it in the S&A Tour so I don't mind them playing Prime Mover either. That's very cool tune too. Anything can happen! Prime Mover! -
It's a spectacle of immense measure! A KISS concert on steroids with brains. Rock and Feckin' Roll!!!!!

Has anyone heard Headlong Flight on Chicago Radio?
Perchance to Dream replied to The Mighty Dudad's topic in Rush
Nope. But while I was driving home from work today, I heard Headlong Flight on my local Modern Rock FM station. It rocked mightily. -
Without a doubt the most epic production that I have ever witnessed firsthand. The sound was magnificent! Easily the best stadium sound that I've heard. A big thank you to Sean for luring me away from the fortress.

Christ.....I'm gettin' old. The first time I heard Moving Pictures, I was trout fishing at the end of a dock in Kirkland, WA.

There's a little shop that I go to called Meteor Music. 95% of their inventory are vinyl records. Just last week I scored an original pressing of High Tide and Green Grass by The Rolling Stones. I also bought Exit...Stage Left. Mint condition. I was quite pleased to say the least.

1977 Gibson Les Paul Standard question
Perchance to Dream replied to Perchance to Dream's topic in Making Modern Music
Very cool, Cyg. Sounds like a complicated process. My refret is finally finished and I'm very happy with the results. That being said, I decided to have someone else work on my tuners. The person who I initially wanted to do my refret didn't get back to me in time (he was out of town) before I sent it in, so I'm gonna throw some work in his direction. There is an issue with my headstock. Apparently the peg holes had been reamed to accommodate the tuners that are on it right now, and some work is going to have to be done to make how I want it. I know this guy can do it. He moved up here recently from L.A. and is a fellow member over at MLP, so I want someone with that connection to do the work. I'll be picking up my guitar on Monday or Tuesday as the electronics are still being worked on. After that, I want to fekkin' play it for a while before I send it in again. I haven't had it in over a month and I have missed her! Yeah, so that last sentence sounds sort strange....get your mind out of the gutter. -
The knobs on the head actually go to 11! Pure genius! For around $300, it's not too bad. A scene from Cyg's rehearsal: "What's that humming noise coming out of your Marshall?" "Oh, that's just the tubes warming up. They're crazy hot."

Great. The Yuba City Symphony consists of five banjo players and a washboard player. Good times. -

QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ Apr 6 2012, 02:20 PM) The Marshall Stack is synonymous with rock... he'll live on forever. Im trying to find a pic f the Judas Priest setup wihere the damn stage was nothing but a wall of those babies... Here's what they don't want you to see. http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa122/Perchance/fake-stacks.jpg Take a close look at those "stacks".

QUOTE (CygnusX-1Bk2 @ Apr 8 2012, 02:18 AM)The "Marshalls" I have are virtual in the form of a POD, AmpFarm, PODFarm and the Amplitube stuff. That counts right... No....no it doesn't. I found this quote on the web today: QUOTE Motley Crue bass player Nikki Sixx also paid tribute on Twitter, saying Marshall was "responsible for some of the greatest audio moments in music's history - and 50% responsible of all our hearing loss."

The shot that Bubba pulled off from the woods on the second playoff hole was incredible! So emotional after he drained the par for the win. Good for him! He seems like a really nice person, too. What an awesome tournament!

****MAJOR SPOILER**** Here's a sneak peek of their "Headlong Flight" video: http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa122/Perchance/Metal.gif Lifeson on the left, Lee in the middle, and Peart on the right.

QUOTE (Undemanding Contact @ Apr 6 2012, 11:17 AM) Whatever Rush turn out, it will never be as pitiful as the last offering from AC/DC. It was like they shoved all of their past stuff into a blender, pureed it, and then poured it into moulds before leaving to set - pathetic - I could pretty-much predict a given chord-change even though I had never heard the song in question. They've been doing that since their first album.

I thought you owned one of everything? I was showing my wife a full stack combo and as joke I told her I was gonna buy it. To my shock, she said, "Cool." Way, way too much for my needs. Hell, even the half stack is too much for me.
