  1. Darker than pretty much any other film Pixar has ever done (especially for a childrens movie) and incredibly emotional. I was at a midnight showing with many of my very own graduating classmates from this past year along with many other young adults in that age group. I saw quite a few people crying and if you were very close to the first two, then this is definitely going to tug on your heart-string. A lot of very funny parts but it is a BEAUTIFUL movie and really brings the whole series full circle. Pixar has done it again. Also a very sinister antagonist (this one is BAD). I urge every single person on here to absolutely go see this movie. Seriously, just awesome. Oh and the short before the film is one of Pixar's best.
  2. I'm 19. I really couldn't care less about my age. Just like every other Pixar movie I'll be seeing it regardless and a good deal of my friends are just as excited as I am. Not surprised as we were the ones that truly grew up with these movies.
  3. I'm also very interested in the supposedly incredibly powerful conclusion of the story. From everything I've read the ending is to have some very emotional scenes. This one caught my attention: "However I do want to talk about this pivotal juncture in the final act, there was a moment in the movie that only last a minute or two, but felt very, very, very real. I can't stress this enough, I have never felt anything like this from a movie. The first time I cried in a move was with Up's "Ellie" sequence but for some reason I didn't do it here. My emotions went beyond crying, I don't know if it was the swirling bright ember colors contrasting with the stark images or the expressiveness of the toys in that very moment, but I sat there in disbelief and was affected in a way that has not existed before."

I love the Toy Story movies!!! Oh, except that now we have Barbie telling Ken he has a nice ass cut. "Ascot" It's like a scarf. She does emphasize the ASS though. I have 100% faith in Pixar and from the looks of reviews, it looks like they're just extending their streak with this one.
  5. I'll be catching the midnight showing tomorrow night and i'm very excited. It's at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes with 23 reviews and an average rating of 8.7 so it's looking very good. Reviews have been doing nothing but praising it. Really looking forward to it. A few clips: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zy8KJflkHgU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCPRmdU-jP0
  6. The people who want to see a massive over the top production with insane lights and technology will enjoy The Wall. No doubt it's going to be the bigger production (I'm planning on catching the second leg of his N.A tour) People who want to see good music performed even better live for 2 and a half to 3 hours and obviously majority of the people on here will obviously enjoy Rush more. Both are going to be f***ing awesome.
  7. Wow, the Ozzfest lineup is f***ing embarassing. Awful.
  8. QUOTE (bscsmkr @ May 25 2010, 06:40 PM) Working Man will not be played. Get out.
  9. If they don't ride out in the Delorean I will be pissed.
  10. Whoever is saying 5 or 6 Snakes and Arrows songs is full of shit. It's the f***ing Time Machine Tour. I say 3 AT THE MOST.
  11. They're not going to open with a new song that has never been played live before or released on album yet.

  15. What? No love for the So-Cal dates? Really really glad that the venue was changed from the Forum. Got some great seats and the show will be awesome. I'm pumped.
  16. Coachella 2010 Friday: DJ Lance Rock - Great fun start to the weekend Yeasayer - Awesome. Packed but awesome She & Him - A very enjoyable set. Zooey Deschanel is reason alone to watch The Specials - Probably the biggest surprise of the day. They're old but they still got it. Great set and had a ton of fun Grizzly Bear - WOW!!!! LCD Soundsystem - Awesome Vampire Weekend - They've improved their live show quite a bit in the past two years. Awesome energy, awesome crowd, really solid fun set and a great light snow too. Jay-Z - He brought it. He brought it so hard and he absolutely killed it. I went in with good expectations but certainly did not expect him to be one of my top acts of the weekend. This guy is absolutely amazing live Saturday: Porcupine Tree - Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. SO glad they got a set time that allowed me to see them with literally no conflicts. Always wonderful live Portugal. The Man - First time seeing them. What a treat Girls - Enjoyable set. Loved the album Temper Trap - Fun. Surpisingly good live Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - AWESOME! This band is going to breakthrough...soon. The whole set was one huge sing-a-long The XX - I had heard mixed reviews and was skeptical especially due to them being on the outdoor during the day and worried about major soundbleed. But once the music started I was on another planet. Great set Coheed and Cambria - Caught the last three songs (Pearl of the Stars, In Keeping Secrets, and Welcome Home) and enjoyed it but nothing special.....UNTIL at the second verse of Welcome Home the f***ing USC marching band comes out. I'll just say they ended on a high note... Hot Chip - Isanely Fun MGMT - Awesome. Packed but the new stuff sounded great live. So. Many. Hipsters Muse - f***ing amazing as usual but was nothing special compared to the Oakland show I had seen a few days ago with their full production. The Dead Weather - Insane and intense. Raw and heavy. Allison Mosshart is amazing but f**k Tiesto 2ManyDJ's - Great way to close out Saturday. Lots of fun. Killed it Sunday: Owen Pallett - WOW Deerhunter - Great set even though I feel like they got stuck with a shitty time slot. I enjoyed it. Matt & Kim - Yes, I was convinced to skip Yo La Tengo and Sunny Day Real Estate to see this...but it ended up being one of the funnest sets i've ever seen. Just came out feeling GREAT. Jonsi - WOW Phoenix - This band seriously knows how to put on a show. They destroyed it. Orbital - 50 minutes of insanity. WOW. Absolutely mindblowing set. Thom Yorke and Atoms for Peace - The real headliners of the night (in my opinion). Incredible. Even better than when I saw them at the Orpheum. and solo acoustic versions of Airbag and EIIRP Gorillaz - The biggest set of the weekend that we were all anticipating. Damon Albarn definitely delivered and completely killed it. Last Living Souls will live in my head forever. One of the best sets of the weekend. Only complaint was the ending. Way to go from Feel Good to Feel Depressed. Other than that, amazing. Probably the best weekend of my life.
  17. They were incredible. Second time seeing them and wish they got a longer set but oh well. I'm posting this from my phone but I thought you guys would like an update. I'll try to give a full review to all you PT freaks when I get home. Oh and I f***ing met Steven Wilson.
  18. Muse last night was great. However, http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q6/kotorimag/coachella2010.jpg We have arrived and tomorrow the party begins. Completely sold out (80,000 people each day) and we're ready. It. Is. On.
  19. Far Cry and Workin Them Angels. The Way The Wind Blows is by far my favorite song off S&A so hopefully that makes it in.
  20. 1. Finding My Way or Far Cry 2. Cold Fire 3. The Big Money 4. Freewill 5. Cinderella Man (This could easily be one of those songs they pull out from the vault i.e Entre Nous and Passage to Bangkok) 6. Earthshine 7. Subdivisions 8. Working Them Angels 9. The Trees 10. Vapor Trail 11. Jacob's Ladder 12. Marathon Intermission *Moving Pictures Intro* 13. Tom Sawyer 14. Red Barchetta 15. YYZ --> Drum Solo 16. Limelight 17. The Camera Eye 18. Witch Hunt 19. Vital Signs 20. 2112: Overture/Temples of Syrinx/Grand Finale 21. Time Stand Still 22. La Villa Strangiato 23. Working Man Encore: 24. By-Tor and the Snow Dog 25. Closer to the Heart (w/ Jam) 26. The Spirit of Radio Did this very quickly and havn't completely thought it all the way through or included new songs but I think it could look something like this (at least in terms of what songs are played).
  21. Dawn of the Dead Shawn of the Dead Zombieland was a really fun movie
