My son is ten and the only one of his friends that doesn't have one. I never even owned one of the fat phones from the 80's. At the time, most people didn't have one of those though. My friends and I used to rag one of our buddies because he'd be on his fat phone much of the time we were out doing anything. If he were on it too often or too long, 4 or 5 of us in the background would make moaning or slurping sounds or just spout random commands involving schlongs while he was using it. Usually all of those at the same time. It was typical dumb 17-18 year old stuff but we thought constantly being on your fat phone and ignoring buddies was dumber. It still is. The fact that nearly everyone does it now doesn't change that!

What is the situation? if it is similar to REM and say someone dies, and they make another album with or without a replacement, the band doesn't qualify Richey Edwards disappeared and no one knows what happened to him. So by the rules in the original post, both the Manics and R.E.M. count, but in the weird dictatorial make-it-up-as-you-go world you are going for here, neither do.

The OP seems to suffer from some confusion regarding fact vs opinion, as evidenced by other threads of his. Such as, the one in which he seems to believe that he can "prove" that John Entwistle is a better bassist than Geddy, or the one in which he characterises the opinions of others as "inaccurate."

I always liked the fact that this board censored some words and voted in support of it in this poll, but now I think I'm in favour of uncensoring "f**k" because I find the misspelled forms people use to get around the censoring to be more annoying than seeing the word itself. Congratulations to all fans of the meaningless intensifier.

I think some of the setlist choices are to please the audience, and some of the choices are to include songs they enjoy playing. Don't forget, it's only partly about us!

4 stars on the strength of the 3 21st Century albums, and a double-handful of great songs scattered through the other 4.

Keep in mind, in a sea of silly Fraroc polls, this one is especially silly. Despite his attempt to explain why he's comparing these two albums, there's no reason to compare them. May as well be comparing VT to a pair of pink fuzzy bunny slippers. So I guess I'm not allowed to discuss anything on this site anymore. I feel like you've said this before? Once or twice maybe? I think he really only annoys rush fans because know one else knows who he is or cares. The others in this thread bother the general public I imagine. That's true, but I didn't remember if anyone here had mentioned him in this particular thread so I thought I'd ask. Too easy :rfl:
