  1. Oh, that wasn't bad!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v300/test4vitalsigns/hadrian.jpg It was test4vitalsigns that posted this, so direct your praise and worship his way!! Here's the link to his original post
  2. QUOTE (Chimique @ Dec 14 2005, 02:39 AM) Is Lindy Young a guy or a girl? Lindy is a guy. I suspect those photos are already posted on the forum somewhere. In the absense of a life, I'll go on a little treasure hunt.
  3. As I write, it's 12.49am on December 14th, which means it's the 35th anniversary of the arrival of the Anagram Queen onto planet Earth. Yes, Rolinda Bonz is 35 today. In wishing my anagramigo a wonderful birthday, I am mindful that I've taken her name in vain more than once in this game. Indeed, I've insinuated things that would have driven a lesser mortal to hit me, but no, she took it in her stride and then calmly solved them (apart from the ones Schro got, but we won't mention that!). I began thinking that maybe I should stop exploiting Rolinda, who is truely one of the beautiful and the wise, but then realised I can't, because I've got Wo, A Million Rolinda Stories BTW - Happy Birthday Rolinda
  4. There Is Never Love Without Pain Once again, I must say Bardan, a brilliant debut which rockets right into the next Hall Of Fame
  5. Prompted by Tick's Marillion thread (and perhaps acknowledging that I never gave Hogarth a chance), I've picked up the Marbles Live CD today.
  6. Oh dear, that rules out my answer then. I thought that maybe Barney Rebel had published a verse avocating gigs by Rush next November, and the band were so impressed they agreed to play a gig in his sitting room. The thread here might read e-poet to have Rush live in winter
  7. QUOTE (bardan @ Dec 9 2005, 08:05 PM) OK, here goes my first attempt at this. Due to a manufacturing error on Neil's Anatomy of a Drum Solo DVD, a lot of people are having to wait to... View the hot Neil Peart souvenir. That. Is. Brilliant. (I'll be calling you all sorts of names by Sunday, but for now, you have my unstinting admiration. Classic).
  8. Lost The Simpsons The only two shows I make an effort to watch on TV
  9. QUOTE (bardan @ Dec 9 2005, 10:31 AM) A modest Man From Mandrake WTG Bardan Always good to see fresh blood in here - You're up!! Edit to add - Obviously turning 43 hasn't affected your brain. Happy Birthday!!!!
  10. One of the most obvious ones is the play on Simon and Garfunkels "The Sound Of Silence" in The Spirit Of Radio The words of the profits are written on the studio walls.
  11. QUOTE (madra sneachta @ Dec 6 2005, 01:37 AM) Amanda Marked Stone For M.M. I honestly thought this would go in ten minutes - It's the most straightforward one I've posted in ages!!!!! 1-6-3-4-8
  12. I must be honest and say that while a was a huge fan in the 80s, my interest waned when Fish left. I saw them in Dublin in '85 at the first ever gig to have Misplaced Childhood played in it's entirety. I was up front, right in front of Fish screaming for Grendel. He looked me in the eye and said "Oh, we have the frontal lobotomy cases in tonight, I see". I recently bought a greatest hits package from the later years, and Hogarth is growing on me slowly but surely. I still yearn for the Fish era though. Favourite album - Fugazi Favourite song - Forgotten Sons Says it all really.
  13. Dryer than the Sahara, pure genius.
  14. Roger, sorry for jumping the gun before validation, but I want to make this post in this thread, if that makes sense...... Picture the scene. Marilyn Manson is in Kingston, Canada, where he meets a young lady studying....let's say......nursing. He's heard a rumour that Keith Richards is in town, and our young nursing student knows where he is. Marilyn wants to meet Keith, but has a small problem. He doesn;t know what Keith looks like, so he asks his young friend to point him out. She goes into a club with him and spots Keith in a corner. She walks over and places a beermat on Keith's table to indicate him to Marilyn, who then goes over to say hello. You could say... Amanda Marked Stone For M.M.

Fair play to you Ricky - In fairness, this run of success was a long time coming
  17. Roger, I was tearing my hair out with spome animated swearing at the complicated scramble you laid before us. However, your clue has elevated my mind. "Compensate me Animate me Complicate me Elevate me"
