  1. Said it before: VT was something I needed at the time it came out...it was something positive when not much for me was. However...that mix is unforgivable. How a record label, management team and band could allow that to be released i can't understand. The songs have a lot of potential I just can't listen to them anymore due to the sound.
  2. Presto & RTB...eerily similar in that both albums blow goats, are rife with bland pop ambitions and are generally uninspired "our record deal says we have to make another album" repetitive globs of boredom. In other words: they both suck. A lot. Hand Over Fist...'nuff said. Sincerely, Nerutotica, chaotica, suckalotica...oooohhhh ohhhhhh ohhhhh
  3. It'd be damned hard to tolerate someone you didn't like for 40 years Bullshit. My parents were married for 43 years. Not true, but what a great line! Heyoooooo!
  4. It'd be damned hard to tolerate someone you didn't like for 40 years...but I bet it's a bit of both. Nothing to base that on of course other than observing them.
  5. You love the tongue in cheek lyrics and the piano solo! Yes Earl you got me! Rush piano solos...masturbatory material if I ever heard it. Sincerely, Pee Wee Herman
  6. Red Barchetta! Red Lenses Red Sector A . . . . . . . . . . . . Red Tide....blah song from blah album
  7. His views may or may not be sensible but he's without a doubt an oddball.
  8. Pre-plastic Nicole all day. But that Kate is a classy broad...I'd toss a couple of Big Macs down her throat and shag six ways to Sunday being the gentleman that I am.
  9. Inbred hilljacks must all be cannibals according to b movie horror flicks.
  10. I think The Police are perfectly rated. Neither over nor under.
  11. Neil's drums sound like mud on this album. DW + coated heads = shitty sound just like on VT.
  12. SRV was a force of nature...and his death was proof we live in a cold, godless, pitiless universe: Kenny G & Michael Bolton are still alive and SRV is dead. What more proof do we need? I love Beck but SRV moves my soul and waxes chumps like a candle.
  13. Highway to Hell by a mile. Classic, classic album from start to finish.
  14. Kelly Keagy always does a helluva job at one of the hardest things ever: singing and playing drums. I never could play and sing at the same time. Sincerely, Phil Collins and Levon Helm
  15. Word up! I thought there was tons of energy when I saw them in Cincinnati. Agree about the set list. Epic.
  16. Kind of Blue is damn close to a perfect album if it isn't.
  17. HYF played "4 on the floor" would be interesting to hear. Hear ye! Hear ye! Hear ye! Friends, TRFers, countrymen. These are the times that try men's souls! It is the best of times it is the time to play Hold Your Fire drums with a minimalist, in-the-pocket, Al Jackson, Jim Keltner-esque approach. I hereby decree a challenge! One of you...yes you!...shall make a YouTube vid of one song from HYF played as specified above. Said video shall be posted for public consumption, amusement and bewilderment. So let it be written. So let it be done. Verily! I do not have a kit any longer or surely I would submit myself to this grand inquisition. Brace yourselves. Vids are coming.
