  1. I find it very insulting to the band that this was not posted in the "Rush" section of the forum. Some people just have no respect for the band.
  2. I would still be up for them to do another studio album.
  3. I'd be perfectly fine with it if Rush ever toured again if Geddy were to lip sync, actually I'd prefer it.
  4. I would love to see a movie made for The Invaders. That was definitely one of my favorite comics when I was a kid.
  5. It looks like it could be a claymation type thing to me. I am not saying that it is. It could be real but there are so many people on the internet that go to great legnths to fool people. That video would be easy for someone that knew what they were doing to move that thing a little for each frame to give animation to it.
  6. I wish that I had bowel movements like that.
  7. My parents had an amazing going away party for me when I left for college. At least, that's what I was told.
  8. My parents sent me a strip-o-gram for my biryhday this year. It was good to see my sister again.
  9. The other day I slipped in the shower. Thank God my father was there to catch me.
  10. You don't really need to know that stuff to know what tone you like the best. Your ears and brain will tell you what you like.
  11. I used to spend hours and hours making mixed tapes and now I can make a playlist with tons of songs on it in a few minutes. The thing is that I kinda miss making those mixed tapes. There is something very nostalgic about them.
  12. I did not see this one yet but the supporting cast from the first one really sucked. His best friend would have fit right in in a movie like The Goonies, but not in a Spiderman movie.
  13. Truth! :ebert: Anniversary editions, the countless “Best Of” and “Greatest Hits” reissues....if people would stop buying them, then record companies would stop trying to sell them. The Who retired in 1982. .... ever since then they have been touring just to let people know that they are retired.
  14. I pleasure myself to it on a regular basis.
  15. Some of you take me way too serious. That's all on you. "Hate mongering?" Over bands and albums? Sure. Over a few idiots on here who like to go after me for my outlandish late night ramblings? Racism? Explain yourself. As for Myles and I, we are fine! You are more like "Disgrace Under Pressure." Relieve yourself and leave me alone. No hard feelings, I have a tendancy to get caught up in the moment. As for the Dr. Evil thing, I only found out that Mike Myers stole that impression a couple of weeks ago when Dana Carvey was on Howard Stern. Ok then, none taken. All good in the Rush Hood! I dig Howard too. Cheers! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPsKE-oRXnE PAT!!! YOU MADE MY NIGHT! An incredible interview by the Legend and humble Paul Gilbert. Jesus Pat I saw that Tour with Rush and Mr. Big five times! I actually got sick of the drill solo and Eric saying.... "ARE YOU ADDICTED TO RUSH?????" But all good! I will admit Pat and you know my story about meeting all three in my lifetime. I was so lame and "Starstruck" meeting Neil in front of his bus and motorcycles before the "Vapor Trails" gig at the Concord Pavilion. Yes, I was a deer in headlights. A Mexican standoff with Neil Peart. Gazing into his beady bloodshot eyes of coal. I will take that moment to my grave. Only wish I could have thanked him for being my mentor in the drumming collective. I failed yet the moment was so amazing. As for meeting Geddy and Alex on the wine train. They were amazing to everyone! Sweetest guys in the world. When I met Geddy at the end of April during the A's and Jays series behind home plate on that fateful Sunday afternoon he was so nice to me. Funny to note, he remembered me. Yep! I am a great guy and I am sweet and sincere. But the men and women on here who hate me for being me. I will always get in the trenches and battle for me. You don't phase me. You idiots who despise me don't bring me down. I will "Fight The Good Fight" even with F bombs and blasphemous banter. Signed, TRIUMPH! You assholes on here who want to keep going after me, go for it. The fruit loop in this thread who has regrets posting on here since he or she or it saw the OP after posting. LOL! What a fuckking moron. "BEAT IT" Michael Jackoffson! I don't even know you from Adam. Would rather see Queen with Adam Lambert! OHHH! I am! 10th row center! Yup! I am the racist. The biggot. The hate monger. The gay hater. The drug addict. The drunk. LOL!!!!!!!!!! "BRING ON THE NIGHT" HATERS! You will never "STING" me. I will never block anyone on here. I know who the haters are. "EAT ME" Have some HUMBLE PIE! The only thing I don’t like about you Earl is the way you talk about people on this forum hating you. It’s cringeworthy. I seriously doubt anyone on this forum hates you. No Rush fan is going to hate you for showing your love of Rush that’s you just projecting your private life shit. What’s the story about 73 PMing you about writing “Canaduh”? Not really something to get anyone’s panties in a twist over... Signed Marje Proops. I know you have been roasted on here too Tony like a beer can chicken on a barbecue, but I have always liked you too. I've made many mistakes on here over the years. Typing without thinking, but that's life. I have no criticism of you at all. Thanks for the honest input. I will do my best to move on and forget the past drama on here. I hold grudges, and that's my problem. Good night Tony. Holding grudges is never a good thing. I have gotten in arguments with plenty of people in this forum and we exchanged some pretty nasty remarks but I just couldn't care less about it the next day. It turns out that someone you thought to be an asshole the day before can turn out to be a pretty decent person. The only person you hurt by holding grudges is yourself. True. Earl the reason you're going apeshit now as a grown man, squabbling with people on a public forum is because you never had a fist fight when you were a kid, or a series of fist fights like me! I don't squabble because all the fist fights got rid of the extra aggression I may have had. Earl you need to find a couple of 6'6 260 pound professional heavyweights to fight, they'll knock the aggression out of you and you'll be better off once they release you from the hospital... No thanks! I'll leave that to you tough guy. "Love Is A Fist." Signed, Mr. Bungle People our age should not get into their first ever fight. Most people our age who have even been in a lot of fights aren't very enthusiastic about getting in any more fights.

My sciatica might act up if I stand too long in one position, :codger: When you start judging people by what concerts they have seen it's time to start judging yourself.
  18. I have no problem seeing them on a big screen. (Seen them all since it started with Rush In Rio.) But that journey ended (for me anyway.) That said, I have no problem with Geddy taking us on a tour of his bass collection or getting some soundcheck and backstage behind the scenes footage or unreleased footage. I wouldn't even mind hearing from crew members in a kind of Backstage Secrets kind of thing. If they want to uncork some footage from the final show, I'd be more than up for that too. I'd love to see Alex show off his acting chops or footage of him noodling on his front porch, but what else is Billy Corgan, Taylor Hawkins or those of similar ilk going to tell that they hasn't been told already? Let's get some new blood in there. I want to hear what Justin Beiber has to say.

  20. I agree with your daughter about Lang escaping the quantum realm. Imagine Doc Strange’s reaction when he saw that one possibility of them winning...”We’re saved by a f***ing rat?!” The gauntlet was destroyed due to all the stones being used at once. Just too much power. But since you and your family didn’t see that then I’d have to say yeah the MCU didn’t do a very good job of explaining it. As for Hulk refusing to come out...I took it as he felt like he only got time “outside” when he was needed. He felt like he was being used / exploited for his brawn. If that is the reason, and I’m pretty sure it was, then it IS a lame one. And again, they didn’t explain very well what was up with that. Final grade after two viewings: B- The weakest of the Avengers films despite my satisfaction with Iron Man & Cap in it. My take on The Hulk not coming out was that he was embarrassed and scared after Thanos beat the shit out of him so easily. Before that he was used to doing the smashing, not being smashed.I was sure that The Hulk would get payback in End Game but was very disappointed that never happened. I was very disappointed with The Hulk throughout the whole movie. I liked that Thor totally let himself go and was pretty much just a total loser. He lost everything and it showed a whole other side to him in a sad and humorous way. I thought the movie was good overall but it certainly could have been much better. Hulk being scared and embarrassed doesn’t make sense since that’s not what Hulk does. It turns out the directors give the same reason I gave earlier for the Hulk not coming out: Thanks for sharing that video. It totally seemed out of character for the Hulk to be embarrassed and scared to me but I was just basing that theory on other things that were out of character for him. Like the fact that he was living the life of rockstar in the last Thor movie or the that Thanos just threw him around like a rag doll. It's been over 35 years since I read a Hulk comic book but I used to read a lot of them when I was a kid and I don't recall him ever being beaten that easily or ever being so full of himself like he was in the Thor movie.I am not saying that that kinda stuff never happened but not in anything I ever read.

  22. Don't take much of what he says seriously. If something he says bothers you than just talk shit back to him. That's what I learned to do and for the most part we get along fine. Who could take that kind of shit seriously? He is like a Trump Mini-Me.
  23. You know, over the years I have seen Earl promote hate mongering and racism in quite a few posts, yet everyone still seems to think he is this great guy? lol
