  1. My friend is going through uhhh a difficult point in their marriage and asked me for advice... It sort of caught me off guard and before I know it these slightly tweaked lyrics came out of my mouth. You've got to hold on to what you've got it doesn't make a difference if you make it or not. You've got each other and that's a lot... for love - just give it a shot.
  2. I'm in the same boat I went to buy it and it's gone. I'm such an idiot should have bought it months ago.
  3. QUOTE (LoneStar Boogie @ Jan 10 2008, 12:51 PM) Jesus Christ!!! You are harsh! No no... that's not Jesus playing that lick it's Alex! Understandable mistake though don't feel bad I'm sure lots of people though the same thing.
  4. The more I adore a film the less likely I am to watch a commentary or special features such as "Making Of" and all that. I find it can totally ruin the magic... again for me only if I really love the movie. If it really took me to some magical wonderful place then the last thing I want to know is how they did it. :c]
  5. QUOTE (deadwing2112 @ Jan 3 2008, 10:31 PM) QUOTE (J0N @ Dec 27 2007, 03:44 PM) I really like them, and I think I only know 1 other person that likes them :$ Not sure why everyone hates them, or why I like them for that matter, but its just the way it is. Rush are one of their main influences, whether they sound like them or not. They have fairly complex lyrics because all their songs are written about a story that Claudio Sanchez wrote. They're kinda prog rock/metal as well, I guess. They wrote a song called 2113 which isn't really anything like 2112, but is good all the same I think 2113 and 2112 is just a major coincidence, because during the song 2113 "Time Consumer," another Coheed song is reprised. So it is just part of The Amory Wars story. I'm listening to "2113" now. LOL GOTTA be a shout out to Rush
  6. The only I've heard of them so far is "Welcome Home" off the Rock Band soundtrack. Have mixed feelings about that track... I find that song like 85 percent awesome and 15 percent... well gay. I hate it when bands do that - I have the same feelings for a couple of Flyleaf tunes - parts of the song can be so heavy and intense and awesome then they'll slip into some shitty soprano poppy rap garbage or something... I blame those buttwads Linkin Park for that by the way... Anyways they piqued my curiosity enough for me to want to check out some more of their stuff, which i will certainly do one of these days soon.

  10. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Dec 26 2007, 11:04 AM) "Crimson Tide." Man thats an awesome and suspenseful movie. My nerves get shot every time I watch it. Truly awesome performances especially Denzel. I asked Santa to help bolter my BluRay collection this Christmas and as a result I got: Blade Runner Box Set Pan's Labyrinth (imo on eof the best films the past two years) Lost Season 3
  11. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Dec 31 2007, 06:11 PM) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/JackAubrey/Troy_McClure.gif "Hi! I'm Troy McClure. You may remember from such movies as 'Cry Yuma' and 'Here Comes The Coast Guard'!" I miss Phil Hartman, too! "Hi! I'm Troy McClure! You might remember me from such self help films as 'Smoke yourself Thin!' and 'Get confident STUPID!'" I miss that guy so much. Been meaning to buy his SNL DVD.

  13. QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Dec 21 2007, 12:31 PM) Oh man, how can you not love this face? http://sydlexia.com/imagesandstuff/arnold/recall1.jpg I'm about to cry with laughter just looking at that picture. I betcha somewhere along the line - THAT one appeared in Fangoria Magazine.
  14. That's awesome! Do you know if it will be rated R? Ummm not to get into intimate details but let's just say I'd 'do' Leela well I mean if it was possible of course.

  16. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Dec 21 2007, 10:50 AM) QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ Dec 21 2007, 07:46 AM) QUOTE (rushgoober @ Dec 21 2007, 09:41 AM) Of the movies mentioned, I only saw the two Terminator movies and Total Recall (no interest in the others). Alright, I saw parts of 2 or 3 of other ones listed, but not the whole movies. Anyway, as much as I love Total Recall, it's hard to compete with T2. I'm honestly shocked that more people so far have voted for the first Terminator movie. It's a great movie, but the 2nd one blew it away I thought... I thought the story in TR was more fun that Terminator (I or II). You do have a point as it was a majorly fun story, but I give T2 the ede for 2 reasons: 1. The cool factor. T2 has to be one of the top 5 or so coolest (not necessarily best) movies ever made right up there with the first Matrix. 2. The end of Total Recall bugged me (pun intended). The whole part where they don't have oxygen and their bodies get huge and their eyes bug out before the oxygen comes back and they return to normal is just beyond silly. I know, perhaps I'm quibbling, but that scene always bothered me and distracted somewhat from the movie overall. Still a great and fun movie though. Hey goobs - If you can't reconcile that small over site with the glory of seeing a chick with three tits then I don't know what to tell you.
  17. QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Dec 21 2007, 07:27 AM) When i meet my bros after a year or so of not seeing them we quote the line from PREDATOR where Ahnold sees Carl Weathers, "DYLAN! You sonofabitch!" then we clench hands and flex our biceps as if we're stacked like those 2 boys. That is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!
  18. QUOTE (owlswing @ Dec 20 2007, 01:51 PM) My Fav. isn't on the list...TRUE LIES!!!! How did we miss that! Decent movie and some funny funny Arnoldisms too... A love the bit where the guy is going to torture him and first injects him with sodium penthanol and Arnold truthfully tells him exactly how he is going to kill him right before he does.
  19. QUOTE (-D-RocK- @ Dec 20 2007, 12:04 PM) QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Dec 20 2007, 08:49 AM) Commando! One of the funniest movies ever. The part where he recklessly drives his truck down a mountain gets me every time. Matirx: "Sully, rememba how I promised to kill you last?...I lied" Sully: "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" classic! My favorite one liner from that may have been "Let off some steam!" right before he impales the guy on a steam pipe. Crap I miss Arnie so much now that we started to talk about it. I'll have to grab up all his movies as they are released on BluRay. I think Predator release is already skedded and I'll be picking that one up on release day - one of the best action flicks of all time.
  20. I voted T2 but I gotta say Predator and Eraser follow very closely behind! I miss the big lug - why the frig did he have to go become a dirty politician instead. *line from Eraser whilst blowing up an alligator* "You're luggage!" Also you forgot "End of Days" which was a great flick also. An odd scene but my favorite from that movie is when he gets woken up all hungover as hell and rummages around his kitchen chucking crap from moldy pizza to coffee to beer to pepto into the blender to make his "breakfast" drink. Classic!
  21. QUOTE (streak85 @ Dec 4 2007, 01:38 AM) QUOTE (Wickedgail @ Dec 3 2007, 03:46 PM) Vanna could you give me the vowel "O" please!?! You're obviously dense! To educate YOU, when I pee or crap, one comes out the front end, the other comes out the back end FYI, your guess is incorrect, above the neck and the torso are now hung Remember wipe front to back NOT side to side!
  22. Good morning! We got an ASS LOAD of snow here last night... something I wasn't expecting since it wasn't snowing when I went to bed and I guess I didn't check the weather forecast. I was parked on the street last night for this frosty bombardment and I swear out of some sort of spite further to a ticket (I consider myself lucky not to be towed) but I'd almost swear every plow in town came by to bury me Jeep as badly as possible - snow almost up to the windows and I have a 5 inch suspension lift on her with bigger tires also. Much to my surprise I made it out with no difficulty. The looks on my neighbors faces were quite priceless. Oh yeah and screw you plow guy!
  23. QUOTE (ALifeson85 @ Nov 30 2007, 10:11 AM) Most video game based movies I have seen over the years, I personally didn't care for, except for a few - the first Mortal Kombat movie was good (second one was AWFUL), Street Fighter was a bit cheesy, but fun...and Resident Evil wasn't too bad. Pretty much every other video game based movie, I just could not get into. Hitman actually impressed me. I only played the first game, but that's enough for me to justify whether it was a good video game adaption. The action sequences were outstanding, and even though he has gotten a bad wrap about it for some reason - I think Timothy Olyphant played Agent 47 really well. Has anyone else seen it? I haven't seen it yet but I'm sure I will eventually... From the trailers I'm not to keen on the actor they selected to play 47 - I was realllllly hoping they could sweet talk Jason Stratham into doing it instead. Anyways glad to hear you thought it was good - I'll have to check that out.
  24. Captain's log. Stardate.... uhhhhhhhhhh.
