QUOTE (OriginalFan @ Jul 3 2008, 10:24 PM) QUOTE (steelcaressed @ Jul 3 2008, 08:06 PM) "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill

As much as I love Bill Bruford, and as great as I think Carl Palmer is...I still had to go with our boy, NEIL!!!
-
What about everyone's favorite CIA operative, Colonel Flag!!!!

My first electric guitar was an Ibanez Roadstar Series II. It was a strat copy with a tremolo and locking nut. It was pretty sweet for $200 back in 1985.

QUOTE (Lady April @ Jul 3 2008, 02:03 AM) Who was the guy who just dies this year? Or was it last year? And btw I like all of MASH just fine I just love Honeycutt and Klinger. Klinger is the puss in all of us MacLean Stevenson and Larry Linville both passed away, but that was back in the 1990's. Other than that, I don't know. Remember when Klinger tried to prove he was crazy by eating a jeep?

And Harry Morgan (Colonel Potter) is still with us!! This year he turned 93!

QUOTE (Lady April @ Jul 2 2008, 11:56 PM) BJ and Klinger make all the difference - no contest Whaaaaaaaaaaaat??? There were some great episodes with BJ, probably more than I can remember. I liked Klinger more after he stopped wearing dresses. But I'll always remember the, "Big red bird with fuzzy pink feet."

QUOTE (Merely Space @ Jul 3 2008, 12:02 AM) I'm a sucker for the brief golden era with both Potter and Burns. Although, one of my favorite episodes is the early Harry Morgan guest appearance as a crazy general. "And now...a number!"

QUOTE (hunter @ Jul 2 2008, 09:09 PM) Had an rg320 Ibanez once. I didn't care for it. But that's just me. In your price range check out this one I like the quilted maple finish, definitely! Ibanez makes some really nice guitars, and at really good prices. For the money, you are going to get a well designed guitar that is perfect for the kind of playing you are looking to do. And down the road, if you wanted to, you could swap out the stock pickups with something better, and then that good guitar becomes really good.

QUOTE (anagramking @ Jun 28 2008, 11:39 PM) http://www.geocities.com/lager57/sixpacks/3floyds1.jpg Had a pint of this tonight with dinner. Oh yeah!! That's a good one! I would love to be able to find Three Floyd's Dreadnought Imperial IPA, but all I've been able to find is Alpha King. And not that Alpha King is bad....but I'd love to try the Dreadnought. -
