At least most of you guys were in North America....TDK took a long time to come to South Korea But yea...amazing is not a strong enough superlative for the movie. As for an Oscar, Heath Ledger doesn't need one. He gave a performance that will be remembered until the end of time.

Will they really be making ALL of the books into movies? Will each book be a separate movie? I lost interest after Crown of Swords. Didn't like that book even a little bit. I'd like to finish the series someday, but it'll have to wait.

I've seen a few YouTube videos where the important part of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was spoiled for dozens of people waiting in line at a book store. These guys literally had a megaphone and were shouting "******** KILLS *********" (I'm a lot kinder than they are). The same thing happened for book 7, due to the leaking of it on the internet. I remember taking very proactive steps that day, even if they were in retrospect rather silly . I got home from work and my book was there, but I also knew that I had to walk the dog. During my walk, I was actually listening to the world around me to make sure I didn't overhear anybody talking about the book, and I was ready to plug my ears if that happened. Another question: What is the statute of limitations on spoilers for big name movies, books or shows? How many years? Can I reveal that Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader's relationship is slightly more significant than adversarial after 28 years?

Pearl Harbor was bad enough to inspire an entire song in Team America! Can't get much worse than that. I didn't HATE Kingdom of the Crystal Skull...it was just a case of "so what?". It was just another Indy movie, no more or less (when it should have been more). rushgoober will get on my case for mentioning Field of Dreams, but I must. "If you watch it, it will suck"

I must be the only person who thought that OOTP sucked as a movie. I thought GOF was startling in its skipping of REALLY important stuff, but it wasn't the letdown that OOTP was. HBP looks decent, but I'll have to wait because I'm all the way across the ocean
