  1. You're missing quite a bit there. I mean, if you put in O'Baterista, you need my namesake as well as the Rhythm Method, not to mention Broon's Bane or Hope or The Main Monkey Businessor MalNar I mean, then there's the intro to Xanadu or even parts in The Fountain of Lamneth for that fact. I think we need a recount here.
  2. QUOTE (Rush Cocky @ Sep 2 2009, 01:44 PM) On Monday, I had my appointment to get my left hand carpal tunnel release procedure. I previosuly had the right hand done in April (I was diagnosed with a severe case of carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands), and it really helped! And since my left hand is going numb about a half dozen times a day now (including disturbing my sleep at night), I am very ready and eager for this surgery!!! It will take place sometime Thursday morning, around 10:00. I may or may not (leaning towards may not) be conscious for watching the Gamecocks play on Thursday night (some strong painkillers!) Anyway, if you don't see me around as much in the next week or so, now you know why. Sorry to hear, buddy. I was just checked out for Carpal myself but it turns out that I'm okay but probably have tendonitis or an inflammation in the left hand. I hope everything goes okay for ya!
  3. QUOTE (-D-RocK- @ Sep 17 2009, 11:55 AM) All you guys are nuts and full of shit too. Fox is a hot piece of ass and if she were standing in front of you right now naked and said "make love to me big boy", not a single one of you dudes claiming to be straight would turn and walk away. Let's be honest. If we're being honest, most guys would do almost any chick that has a decent body or nice enough face. So, in a sense, what you're saying is true but in the broad spectrum, she's like any other....
  4. QUOTE (PuppetKing2112 @ Sep 14 2009, 06:47 PM) I just got my new issue of Rolling Stone and there she is on the cover, and I'm just not seeing it. Well, she is pretty & has a nice bod but she don't make me feel funny like sliding down the rope in gym.
  5. QUOTE (workingcinderellaman @ Apr 30 2009, 11:45 AM) I couldn't find any Mythbuster fan threads so I thought I would start one. http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/mythbusters/wallpaper/gallery/myth5_1280x1024.jpg I love this show! Who has ever posted a myth on their forum? I do it from time to time, I've never seen them do one of my ideas. There are a lot of know-it-alls in there. Love this show because there are times when you'd really like to find out if it is true!
  6. QUOTE (mankad89 @ Sep 18 2009, 12:32 PM) Snakes & Arrows. ?????
  7. Many mix up what is meant by dark. To me their bleakest album is CoS. I like a lot of songs on there but it was, by far, an album they'd probably like to forget. Dark, to me, would be P/G without question. AfterImage is the flagship of the album.
  8. QUOTE (kbomb106 @ Aug 20 2009, 08:56 AM) QUOTE (Der Trommler @ Aug 19 2009, 01:14 PM) drummer pulled hair out & is now bald... Whatever happened to that guy? He sounds like a dick. I think I saw him at a party wearing a funny tiara. If only I had a picture of that.... I know! I heard about that too. Where was that again?
  9. QUOTE (MULTIPLIED REACTION @ Aug 19 2009, 08:26 PM) QUOTE (Der Trommler @ Aug 19 2009, 12:14 PM) QUOTE (babadaboom @ Aug 18 2009, 10:11 PM) Saw Anthem in Dallas (4 guys - pretty good Geedy) one time. Also saw Natural Science in Tokyo, Japan (3 guys - very good even with a "Japanenglish" Geddy) twice and will see them again in October. My old band name was Anthem. It was service marked for protection. It since ran out as we disbanded about 15 years ago. Fun while it lasted. The entire year! Bass player/singer got a swelled ego, guitarist decided to go New Age, drummer pulled hair out & is now bald... I got a good idea who was the drummer. Who?

  11. QUOTE (tangy @ Aug 18 2009, 01:17 PM) Well who amongst us has actually seen a rush tribute band? please spare us all the lame attempt at humor by saying dream theater. I for one have never seen one but really I never had to the chance to do so. I do know there several rush cover groups out there. Have you seen a rush tribute band, who were they and were they good? I have. I never cringed so much in my life. I've heard two others, again cringing. I didn't not cringe at DT....Although, they played the instrumental parts.

  13. QUOTE (Tortoise and Hare @ Aug 7 2009, 10:24 PM) QUOTE (Rush Cocky @ Aug 6 2009, 06:25 AM) QUOTE (Der Trommler @ Aug 5 2009, 11:13 PM) Sorry guys, please look at my profile & then check out that David Murray. I was joking. It just happens that he is only months younger than I am. I thought it was cool. OK, I get it now. On a related note, has anyone here ever Googled their name to see what comes up? Oh, I did, I did, RC!!! I'm a politician in Indiana! - - Who happens to be in the press a lot!! My name really pops up a bit cause I'm a teacher (in Massachusetts, NOT Indiana!) and my school puts our stuff up from time to time - - public record and all!!! Fun thread, DerTrom!!! Hare Thanks, Hare I thought it was funny because this guy shows up on a movie & he's a few months younger than I

I've been a professional jazz sax player, the guitarist for Iron Maiden, A ball player, pro photographer, a body builder, a race car driver in Europe, chairman of the Rangers football club in England. I do quite a bit. Yes, it keeps me busy but I still find time to post here

  18. QUOTE (The Owl @ Jul 15 2009, 02:35 PM) Might as well start this thread...... Who's seen this? I went to see a midnight screening last night and enjoyed it very much..... MUCH......MUCH better than 5, 4 or 1.....but not as good as 2 but about on par with 3. as far as trueness to the books go...this is one of the most faithful adaptations yet....not much changed... Who else has seen this? Just saw it. I was dissappointed in only one thing - IMax. DO NOT watch this in 3D. It's a waste of $$$. It's only the first 15+ minutes of the movie which really is a waste. Aside from that, I haven't read the books yet. I refuse. I won't be able to enjoy the movies because I will always compare them to the books. I thought the movie was very decent. A worthwhile go see. I can't say much more without having spoilers. Good film. Can't wait for the next one.
  19. If you go to IMDB.com, go to G.I. Joe. I'm the 9th one on the list. Go see the movie & bask in my glory!
  20. I can swear that Neil's kit did not have the concert toms until after Fly by Night. Am I wrong, or did I see a picture with the Slingerland kit as a 7 or 8 piece kit? 3 rack toms, 1 or 2 floor toms, 2 bass, snare.
  21. QUOTE (Sark @ Jun 26 2009, 10:23 AM) Despite all the controversy that surrounded the latter part of his career, he left quite a mark on the music scene. R.I.P. Michael Say what you will, he did. All the charges that were against him were dropped & they found that almost all of the parents involved with the charges were in debt looking for money....Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. He still was an icon for pop rock.
  22. While it's a fav of mine....it's way too overrated. Blurred by a good album, put on a pedestal of platinum
