  1. So I couldn't get my phone to upload videos to YouTube, but I finally worked out that little bug... Leave That Thing Alone.... like I said, BAD audio... I can't even tell what that sound IS... I can only tell what it is by the video in the background anyway... good shots of the boys, I think... and then here's some stuff... no playing... just the stage and all... short and sweet! more to come soon if you all want it!
  2. "Limelight" and "Beneath, Between and Behind" because of that documentary!
  3. So, a while back... before the mentioning of the Time Machine Tour... I had a dream that I was at a Rush show BUT... Geddy was on drums, Neil was singing, and Alex was still on guitar. Funny, and shocking, that at the Time Machine Tour itself... one of their videos depicted that I had dreamed! this is in reference to the rush-related dreams but of course I couldn't post the spoiler there!
  4. QUOTE (theoriginalfuzz @ Jul 26 2010, 06:29 PM) QUOTE (The_Enemy_Within @ Jul 26 2010, 06:25 PM) I'm sorry all of you guys have to wait. :/ How much money was it? I forgot. I remember seeing it on the site, but haven't really kept tabs with it. Mine was a little over $300 per person... but I know others had to pay more (prices varied from city to city). Ouch! Well, I do hope you get yours soon!

  6. Here Again," Alex chimed as he picked-up his axe, strummed a chord, then looked at Geddy and said: "I don't wanna sing my robotic vocal contribution in Subdivisions because it's challenging to watch Neil's hands, pretending he is holding two unicorns." I don't understand Alex's position, but The Mighty F#7add4 Chord sounds as good as it ever has! "Maybe I should learn that chord!," said one unicorn, bouncing off drum-heads, hooves thundering across Neil's indestructable toms. The unicorn's horn snapped-off in Neil's hand, and the beast flew across the studio. I wonder why the horn sounded like a big wet gong hanging on the Elephant's tusk. Geddy sighed, as once again he had to slap his bass with a shovel,"Where's my rake!" Geddy's grip on his maple syrup increased but then he had to take a leak on the platypus. Geddy's zoo membership was taken away when he decided to take a dinosaur stuffed animal.
  7. soooooooo cool! Very nice. I love that plate.
  8. Marathon BU2B Caravan Closer to the Heart Working Man ...Ah, basically all of them were great to me, except Faithless. I do like that song, but do not feel it had as much energy as the other songs.
  9. QUOTE (growingbald @ Jul 20 2010, 07:40 AM) Sell your tickets, don't go to the show. Give someone else a chance to enjoy the show. Thank you for flying Delta.
  10. QUOTE (Pound of Obscure @ Jul 20 2010, 11:33 AM) Are hardcores like us really going to be excited with LTTA, Stick It and WTA or anything else off Snakes which sold about 100,000 copies? Um... Wow. I'm a hardcore fan and liked the what they gave in the first set. That doesn't make me any of a less "hardcore fan" I don't think. I think it shows you're more of a fan of a band if you can either... 1) Not like the songs but deal with it because it's whatever band it is - in this case RUSH - and not whine and bitch about it because it isn't customized for you and your wants. 2) Actually enjoy the songs like most fans of a certain band do.
  11. ............ I thoroughly enjoyed the first and second set, and the videos they had to show this tour.
  12. QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Jul 19 2010, 11:30 AM) I hope I can take pics from Red Rocks. I won't need a zoom lens from my seat. What seats you got?
  13. How far in advance do you have to do this??? I never knew people did this. I SO wanna get something signed!
  14. I was right up by Alex the entire 7/5 show... taking pictures with my camera phone. He did not give me any "looks" or anything. He was actually kind of doing funny poses in front of people And some security guy walked up behind us and said, "We don't mind if you take pictures, but just no flash." I got my - pretty decent - camera in for the 7/7 show. Too bad it rained. Thankfully it didn't get ruined! But yeah, I'm sure if you're not too obvious about it, getting a camera in should be fine. No one - at least at the few venues I've been to - haven't minded or tried to stop me from taking pictures once in there.
  15. I thought it was brilliant. While I get some people are tired of hearing it, I have never seen Closer to the Heart live, so I was happy to see they were playing it. I'm only seventeen, so my number of RUSH concerts aren't that high! Anyway, I was at the barricade that entire show, right in front of Alex. Everything blew me away. When they broke into that little session during C2TH, I was just thinking: "WOW" ...I feel so honored that I've gotten to see our boys 4 times now -- five when they come back here August 23!
  16. QUOTE (KillerInstinct @ Jul 15 2010, 03:19 PM) Holy crap, the tickets are expensive. The cheapest are $4532.84 USD and the most expensive are $16,998.14 USD at the Sao Paulo show. e: this is implying i did my calculations right. feel free to correct me if necessary
  17. QUOTE (the masked drummer @ Jul 14 2010, 02:31 PM) QUOTE (The_Enemy_Within @ Jul 14 2010, 02:07 PM) I haven't read all of these posts or anything... A lot of them are long-winded and whatnot, but I do know some people agree, and more people disagree. My question, and sorry if it's a stupid one, but... Since RUSH has rescheduled, doesn't that kind of throw out any arguments Chris has made? He bought the tickets for that particular show, and it was postponed, but now rescheduled. Is it the company's fault he can't make it to the show he bought? I don't see why he just didn't wait around to see a show closer to him or something like that. All of this just seems really huge... kinda uncalled for. I understand him wanting money back, in a way... before the show was rescheduled, though. No show - why should he lose all that money? Or, anyone else for that matter. But now that it's still on, what fighting chance does he have? So if I had a helicopter flying lesson that I paid $5000 for, does that mean I should try to have the flight school or the airport refund my round trip airfare to Miami and also my $5000usd? Regardless of what laws are on my side I couldn't in good conscience ask them to pay. It's not their fault and it was out of their control. The right thing to do is to accept a rescheduling and fly back down there. Now if the flight school was negligent and cancelled the lesson then i would expect a refund for my travel expenses and possibly a full refund depending on the terms of our agreement. i think sometimes people mistake rights with abuse of the legal system. And it's embarrassing that americans are being laughed at by other countries on this very forum who view us as a culture of people filing any old lawsuit at the drop of the hat. Its sad... Right. Yeah. I don't really have an opinion of the whole lawsuit... as I don't want to be spewing out things I really have no clue about. However, I think he should deal with the rescheduling, too.

  21. QUOTE (Rushchick10 @ Jul 11 2010, 03:05 PM) Do you just know someone? Other than knowing someone, radio is your best bet, I think. I really hope you get some!
  22. Sorry to say I didn't get a lot of Neil shots on the 5th... They all came out really blurry, all the same, or Alex was standing in front of him... But I did have a lovely Neil experience. In dedication to Rolinda and Ghost Girl, who are the two biggest Neil lovers I talk to. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs015.snc4/34114_1516376958151_1496301627_1303606_5134388_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs014.snc4/34051_1517414624092_1496301627_1305737_5935303_n.jpg
  23. DEFINITELY got some stuff for you Alex lovers. While I'm a Geddy girl, Alex kind of managed to steal my heart on the 5th and 7th [meet and greet]. The following photos are from July 5, 2010; Chicago, Illinois. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs066.snc4/34673_1522954882595_1496301627_1318522_2931052_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs026.ash2/34673_1522954922596_1496301627_1318523_4715181_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs066.snc4/34673_1522955002598_1496301627_1318525_1654545_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs046.snc4/34673_1522955082600_1496301627_1318527_8201451_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs046.snc4/34673_1522955122601_1496301627_1318528_6136783_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs046.snc4/34673_1522955162602_1496301627_1318529_6137595_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs138.snc4/37214_1522955682615_1496301627_1318531_2077846_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs078.ash2/37214_1522955762617_1496301627_1318533_1565746_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs078.ash2/37214_1522955882620_1496301627_1318536_8266220_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs138.snc4/37214_1522955962622_1496301627_1318538_4889967_n.jpg ...On the 5th, I was at the barricade. When he threw shirts, one went right behind me and some guy tackled it, basically. I guess Alex saw, or he saw me still jumping around, and he looked at me directly, and tossed the shirt right to me. Then, on the 7th, I went to the meet and greet and thanked him for the shirt and he laughed/smiled and said you're welcome. I went to hug him (hugged Ged too, after asking him -- he was shy, but hugged), and he gave a tight hug. I said, "You're so awesome!" and he smiled and thanked me. That all being said... Lerxst has a special place in my heart now. ALWAYS! Plus, he was ROCKIN' on the 5th.
