You were taught well it seems. You seem to be on the right path and you seem well aware of the grief process. Just remember. This holiday season will be the hardest one. Though you'll miss them every season, it gets easier as you well know.

I've always been a pretty big fan and the last couple of years he made back heavy into my rotation. Especially the live videos. I'll miss him terribly. One of the few bands that put out almost no bad songs.

I'd fight you on this one. The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones all predated Zeppelin with hard a hard rock sound I'd go as far back as the fifties. Maybe on one or two but not most types of music that are mentioned. The Beatles kicked the door wide open for a lot of these genres.

The first time I saw TBL it did nothing for me. But then I saw it again and it all clicked :) I've considered that...comedies are a frame of mind at that exact moment. I need to make time for a fresh evaluation...and most comedies hit me instantly.. I thought it was funny on my first viewing...probably would've given it a "B". But now, after 5 or 6 times, it's a sturdy "A+". It's one of those movies that when I'm flipping through the channels, I always stop and watch.

I occasionally have flashback nightmares of the Aprul singing Blue Christmas video. I had never seen a Transvestite Behemoth before that. ((No offense to any current TRF transvestite behemoths)). The vid I've tried to search for but could never find was the time Necro sang Rivendell in front of his twin kids...with all 3 of them dressed as Hobbits. That was the TRF thread contest with all these different Rush covers/renditions. Some were seriously done and quite good, others were comedic...and quite good. Aprul's tramp stamp is seared into my brain. Unfortunately.

Oh I miss the days of White Trash and Aprul.

It happened yesterday. My 14 year old stepson told me that after he graduates college and starts to make a lot of money, that he'll buy me a Corvette. I only have to wait eight or nine more years! I hope I'm not to damn :codger: to enjoy it. He melted my heart by saying that.
