  1. I watched that a week or two ago and I loved it! 9/10 for me.
  2. Hey! If someone doesn't know Willie Stargell or Dave Parker, let them figure it out on their own. It may give them a nice sports education. Hell, maybe they'll see the We Are Family video. I was a kid back then and I always wanted a Pirate cap.
  3. I did that a couple of weekend ago. I never get tired of watching them.
  4. Insane Fury Sounds soooo like a real commercial name. Lame.
  5. I worked in fine dining in Dallas in the 90's and met quite a few famous athletes and saw a couple of stars. People I've spoken with for a few minutes or waited on: Troy Aikman, and man he's a big dude! Hershall Walker, Gold medalist Michael Johnson, Tony Dorsett, ...... Aw screw it. I've met a ton of athletes. But the most fun encounter happened when another server friend and myself were asked to sit down and have a few drinks by Jerry Jones. I swear this is the truth. We talked for maybe a half hour or longer. He was drunk as shit but extremely nice and down to earth. My friend and I were telling him that he needed to trade Dieon Sanders, and he stared at us and said, "really?". Of course it didn't make a dent in his hard head. Dieon was with the team that year and it was the start of his decline. Jerry left the waiter $100 tip. Jerry was easily accessible to the public in those days.
  6. I don't think that's ugly at all I don't either.
  7. Monet is excellent. But his paintings are expensive and cost alot of Monet. "Count da money" "Di mone' Di mone'"
  8. I watched an episode of Star Trek: Discovery and one of the characters mentioned the Beatles, so we know they are still relevant in 2255. You might be surprised (or maybe not) how many school teachers here in Japan use Beatles’ songs to practice English with their classes. I’m not convinced it works but their presence is here. In general, Japanese kids don't know Elvis, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Dylan, etc. other than MAYBE their name. But they know The Beatles and can identify at least a few of their tunes. Do you remember the English class seen at the beginning of Stripes? :) Do I ever! Some of the Blaze bros have asked me if I’m like Harold Ramos in Stripes. I tell them, “I’m exactly like him!” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJqlfMP-klM&sns=em
  9. Distant Dreamline ...................Not bad

  11. i used to be an annoying Beatles fan, lol. but you are most right they simply got there first.....by got there i mean popularized rock. Mick I once had a woman tell me that all of my judgements were invalid because I told her I didn't care for the Beatles that much. Sadly, she was serious. That's a bit extreme. The Beatles changed the whole generation imo. I think rock n roll would still be popular without them but not quite the same. They had a nine year run with tons of great music that influenced an entire generation. Not just musically either. They changed the look. They changed the political climate.
  12. Not so much the cubism which he's mainly know for. Check out his early work. It's mind blowing.
  13. I don't think it is racist. There was once a time when we could make light of our differences. Now we are turning into PC robots. Right http://youtu.be/a1Tf5uuGvjs http://youtu.be/bZrmp9tXGb0 S.A.T.I.R.E. noun noun: satire the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues. synonyms: mockery, ridicule, derision, scorn, caricature; A lost art.
  14. I love them both but Tom Petty put out so many damn good songs!!

  16. Not sure about Peart but I do see Freddie Mercury, Borat biting a wrench, and Quentin Tarantino in a cowboy hat I think you are on to something.
  17. Rat farts! Even better Do you know the reference? I think you were referring to this? http://youtu.be/GYbUx6wZ7z4 Absolutely!!
  18. I think he'd be a pretty damn good comedic actor.
  19. Everyone has their "that's a guy?!" moment. Even on the relatively low TS vocal, Ged just does not sound like a dude to the uninitiated ear, That happened to me with a co-worker who heard Anthem. He thought it was a girl and refused to believe otherwise until I showed him a photo of the band. That didn't even help my first wife... she saw Geddy in his kimono and said "That's a kinda homely chick," or something pretty close.
