  1. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Nov 14 2006, 12:03 AM) QUOTE (Midway Hawker @ Nov 14 2006, 02:58 AM) "how could I leave this.. behind.." The lyrics to "Big Bottom" are genius. And the fact that all three guys are playing bass guitars on that song is perfect. My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo.. I'd like to sink her with my pink torpedo.. Big Bottom. Big Bottom.. Talk about mud flaps, my girl's got 'em...
  2. I'd love to quote Ted Knight, but I don't know how to stutter on the keyboard.. duh huh, duh huh huh huh huh... (may he rest in peace)..

  4. QUOTE (RUSHHEAD666 @ Nov 1 2006, 11:33 PM) QUOTE (Midway Hawker @ Nov 1 2006, 10:06 PM) I'm from Sac, Roseville to be exact... My favorite Safeway manager back in the day when I worked there finally retired and moved up to Roseville. Booming place. I have some good friends in Lincoln as well. RUSH ON!! See you in Marysville for a RUSH SHOW!!! Earl Yep, very familiar with Lincoln as well. I used to live there also. Lincoln is currently the fastest growing city in the USA... (according to some statistic I read) I love the Marysville Amp.. It's much better than Echo Arena. Great place to go. I love it that it's out in a cow pasture, 20 miles from anything..

  6. Everyone should see saw, it's almost as fun as the merry-go-round...
  7. I watched the first one and loved it. Then I watched the first one again, and only mildly enjoyed it... I have #2 sitting here and it's waiting to be watched, but I'm afraid it will be a waste of 2 hours. We will see.

  14. QUOTE (floydfanatic111 @ Jun 3 2006, 10:06 PM) However, I overcame EVERY INSURMOUNTABLE ODD to get to where I am today. I am originally from Whitman, MA(about 35 or so miles outside Boston and right next to the city Brockton, I lived near Whitman/Brockton line). The first inclination that something was wrong with me was me mimicking my folks, in other words echolalia. My father who had just stopped drinking in late 1978 and eventually smoking in 1984 knew something was wrong and my mother was in denial probably due to stresses of raising EIGHT kids at once(me being the youngest) hence she drowned her troubles in weed, nicotine and booze. My folks took me into John F Kennedy Memorial Hospital and ran tests and lo and behold I was diagnosed with autism after the test results were done(things were technologically impaired in 1979). The doctors wanted me institutionalized, on meds and so forth but my parents(God bless them) and my siblings threatened the doctors to kidnap me and run away with me and the doctors thought my folks and siblings were nuts to treat me like a normal kid(I am 30 now and a lifelong nonsmoker, nondrinker and nondrug user). Also, the doctors said I would have to wait until age 22 to graduate High School, I proved them wrong and graduated at 18 in 1994 and was in MAINSTREAM classes instead of the Special Needs room(I did go to Tutorial everyday once or twice a day in High School). I was also drummer in High School band and one of the most well-loved students in my high school and was some teachers' worst nightmare and fellow students' disciple. The same a**hole doctors told me I couldn't drive a car and with music going, at age 19 I got my drivers license and when I have music going I am more relaxed(especially Pink Floyd and Rush's music going). I went to college, have an associates degree in computer graphics design although my focus during college was mainly trying to get a girlfriend but my Aspergers kept me from following up on the advances from them. Especially one girl named Danielle(who was a dead ringer for Stacy Keibler). Despite the fact I didn;t ever date her, she has subsequently became my second best friend ever(aside my best friend of 19 years Dennis whom has ADHD and I have known him since Jr High School) and despite dating other guys, geographical distance and her having a baby last November, we are still in touch and so forth. Her and Dennis are the only two friends I ever had from my initial school years January of 1981 to June of 2000 who stood by me and didn't let anything, nor my autism/Aspergers, get in the way. Great to hear your story, dude!
