  1. Hi, Arleen! Good to be back. I thought flu season would never end!!!! At least you know where to find me: Feast for the eyes, Geddy is hot, or the Led Zep thread!!! LOL!!!! I guess I'd better post a photo so I'm not just taking up space here. Hmmm, I don't have that much in Photobucket yet. How about this? Jason Isaacs has a really great butt. (from the movie "Event Horizon"). http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n295/tyranny83/8933732sxJTlfmarA_ph.jpg

Diffferent yet just as awesome. what original version I'd like to hear it You have to remember that ALOT of Led Zeppelin songs are blatant re-writes or rip offs, depending on your view, of old American Blues songs. Maybe that's what he means.
  5. This thread needs a bump... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n295/tyranny83/zep363.jpg Happy New Year all you Zeppelin fans!!!

The words "Flies" and "Honeypot" come to mind!!!! The words "Mmmm boy, I gotta get me some of that!" do too...
  8. QUOTE (Maddy @ Nov 11 2006, 10:46 PM) For my "official" 2.112th post: http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d81/ladymadrigal/70pic18.jpg Another funny shirt from Geddy...
  9. QUOTE (treeduck @ Nov 1 2006, 09:36 PM) That one got me too. For once the monster didn't look like a guy in a suit, it looked organic, real in other words. Plus it was an inspired design, made up of all the things we're scared of: it was slimey, reptilian, spidery had the face of a death's head, squealed like some kind of giant insect/mouse and they only showed you bits of it so you were never sure what it was exactly. Also the film had genuine suspense and atmosphere, a great cast too... I like The Omega man one of the Charlton Heston 70s disaster films along with Earthquake, Soylent Green, Planet of the Apes, Beneath the Planet of the Apes Airport 75 and Two Minute Warning...
  10. This is my last word on this subject: the old thread you found had no activity for more than a year. I don't think it's unreasonable to let me start a new thread without jumping all over me about it. Anyone else have a "favorite Spinal Tap moment" either in the movie or in "real life"??? I thought it was hilarious when I read that Robert Plant said that Led Zeppelin actually did that wandering around lost backstage thing (in Milwaukee, I think?). A friend of mine told me that happened to Twisted Sister, too. HELLO, CLEVELAND!!!!!
  11. QUOTE (tangdog @ Oct 31 2006, 10:35 PM) Wheres Blacula? http://www.monstrula.de/news/203/blacula.jpg Christopher Lee was my choice.

  13. Oh, yeah, my bad... it's been a while... it IS Willem Dafoe playing the Nosferatu role in Shadow of the Vampire, not John Malkovich (who actually plays the director). I should've pulled up the IMDb site before I posted. Man that was a good movie.
  14. Sure thing, treeduck. You don't have to ask me twice to see a vampire movie!!!! I've read good things about the 1979 version, I'm sure you are right-on about it. But you've gotta love the beautiful use of light and shadow in the B&W 1931 version....
