  1. I'd be interested to see how that works out . I think it's easy to guess: the majority of men prefer long hair on women. Personally, as long as it's clean and doesn't smell like it's been drenched in hair spray, I don't care. Long hair, short hair, curly, straight, Afro, whatever... I like that answer! I'm growing mine out, my photo with Ged is almost 2 years old.
  2. Are you really? Where? What kind of seats do you have? Prudential Center in Newark. I'm very fortunate to have great seats one section from the stage on the lower level in the fourth row. (Section 18) I'm so excited, I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve too excited to sleep. I don't blame you. Is this the first time you will be seeing him? My third time seeing him live actually. I've seen him a few times but not in recent years. He puts on a great show! Jelly! You should go too...Macca in Jersey! I wish....but can't spend the money! :( Yeah, I know. Sigh.

  5. :o He's still touring??? Is Marco still with him? Saw him once with Marco, but that was like 20 years ago. That was a trip for sure. It's really getting hard to justify when getting in and out of the city ends up being more than the show. Well that and managing to get to work the day after if it's a weeknight. Well I've been out of work for a very long time so I can't really justify any shows at all though that hasn't stopped me from seeing Styx and some others. But I have to draw the line somewhere . And yes tolls and parking plus the ticket adds up.
  6. :o He's still touring??? Is Marco still with him? Well, touring again, but yes! Saw him about five years ago outside Philly. It was a great show, lots of fun. Marco isn't touring with him.
  7. I want to see Adam Ant next week in the city so bad but can't justify spending the money .
  8. I love them. Wanted to see them on this tour but couldn't spend the money .
  9. My next show is classic albums live doing 2112 at Bergen PAC. I have mixed feelings on it but the ticket was only 20 bucks so I figured why not.
  10. They came to my college in 1985ish, they played at the state fair. Afterwards, we hung around the bus and I remember screaming for James Pankow as he was getting on the bus, lol. He still plays a mean trombone. There was a really good special on them, was it last year? I forget what channel, but it was really good, the history of the band.
  11. My condolences. She sounds like she was one awesome lady.
  12. And Terry Kath WAS a great musician...
  13. Love the much older stuff, still liked them later 80s but not as much. Lots of great musicians in that band .
  14. Kate Winslet by a mile, I find Nicole Kidman to be kind of cold .

  17. I gave you a "like" because for a while now I have had an undefinable and strange "feeling" in the pit of my stomach brought on by who knows what. I'm not sure what it's about, but it leaves me with an uncharacteristic inner restlessness and discontent. Do you keep a journal? I find it sometimes helps when I try to put down words on how I feel, even when I don't know. It's like thinking aloud. I'm smiling because I began keeping one when I was 13. I used to carry it around in my handbag in the seventies and eighties. Often when I was out at a club or bar, I would pass it around to my friends to write in it. By the time I was 35, I had amassed at least twenty notebooks full of memories. One day I started to read through them. A friend of mine called while I was doing so and I told her what I was doing and that I had begun to read entries of things that happened that were better left not recalled. She asked me what would happen if I died suddenly - would I want those journals to be read by anyone else? I thought long and hard about that. About a week later, I picked up the first journal and started ripping. It took me a long time, but I finally shredded (as best as I could in the days before shredders) all twenty journals. My hands were hurting when I was done. They served me no purpose and, frankly, I think they are a waste of time. I still have a ton of mine, but I have gone through and ripped pages out! But I think the writing can be therapeutic at the time. But yikes, I can see how your hands would be killing you when you were done!!

I find it sometimes helps when I try to put down words on how I feel, even when I don't know. It's like thinking aloud. I actually kept one for years and years, because I love to write. But then I stopped about 15 years ago. So I have a few close friends (bless their hearts) who get to read my emails in lieu of a journal! But I do appreciate the suggestion.

I hope it either goes away or you're able to figure it out! I know what is causing my sadness, I just meant I can't say on here what it is.
  20. I Can't say specifically, but it's been making me sad for a while. :(
  21. Out of The Blue one of my fave albums by anyone, but a new world second is my very close second fave of theirs.
