What if I am the fat dude smoking the herb ;)? Don't know about looking at setlists ahead of time as I kind of like to let concerts unroll fresh. I just hope people around me like standing, bc I need that in my life. And merch is a must! Still have stuff from each Tom Petty show I've attended and treasure them. This show will be so epic.

Not to sound like I'm complaining, but I'd like to score better tickets. Not sure how cheap they go the week/day before a show though. We talking back down to face value cheap or dirt cheap?

Scored nosebleeds for Chicago off Ticketmaster this morning. I'm just very psyched that I will be going at all. Any tips for my first time out?

I tend to only be really partial to shirts with pics of the band on them or ones sporting obscure humor (Rash). Only album shirt I would really love to add to my collection right now is 2112.

Not your average "problem" per say. But, my wallet may be spitting on me soon... BUT, those FBN and FTK shirts are looking mighty tempting...AND the 2112 one...dammit :P.

I have a slight problem. I keep freaking buying Rush t-shirts and I did it again today. I believe this makes 7 or 8 total now. That may not sound horrible, but this collection of mine has grown faster than most other band shirt gathering missions. And with this tour excitement brewing, I have the unhealthy urge to clothe myself in Rush gear on a daily basis. Anyone else have a similar affliction ;)?

I'd be very interested to hear them do "Dreamline", even if it's not my toppermost pick. I love this song so much, it'd be awesome to hear in person. (**Still a bit of a noob, so excuse me if they've done this one live plenty already ;) ).

I'm taking my chances with the general sale going on next Friday. I'd love kickass, up close seats, but my bank account says nope. At this point, I am tickled pink that I get to see them at all.

I have a Facebook as well. There are only a couple others who are RL friends that also dig Rush. My obsession for them is better spent here ;).

Maybe if I can use that calling Ged up personally method, then I may have a chance at front row in Chicago...I could pitch my brilliant idea for his personal line of TP. He'd have to give tics up for that, patent pending and all :P.

Kinda feeling this post a little bit since I checked out StubHub for my very first time this morning. Ugh, that sh*t on there makes me cringe, seriously. My hope is simply to score tickets for me and my soul sister (might be nosebleeds depending on pricing) for the Chicago show and have a blast. Unless I just happen to meet some shady dude in a side alley by the venue wearing a trench coat loaded with a few choice pairs of tickets (that I wouldn't be able to afford). Checked this out myself this AM (mostly cus I've never heard of the site), and wow, just wow. This monster thing sucks. Says they have around 500 tickets available and even upper bowl seat pricing was BAD. Ugh, hope I can score something good in the gen sale for Chicago next Friday...

The bestie relationship between Ged and Alex is personally one of my favorite aspects of Rush. I have a best friend like that who is my sister for life (we even have a name for our relationship called "Biffles/Bifflebands/Biff"). When I see those 2 interacting, it reminds me so much of my own relationship with my Biff. It's something that I can relate to and see the depth in and that touches me in a warm and cozy manner. As to the fanfiction, not really my thing for Ged/Alex, but it happens with any famous people really. Used to read Beatles slash here and there when I was a teenager. Not surprising it would exist for Rush at all. (**Think of what they've come up with for our dear Professor :o .)
