My sister graduated. I think it's the equivalent of a high school diploma, though I'm not sure how educations compare between US and Denmark. Oh whatever. Extremely happy that she finally did it and got on the right track. She went from being on a path to nowhere good, and she's turned it around. Proud of her! And all that while being a single mom raising a child.

Been invited to a barbeque party this weekend and a night in town with some friends. We are in the midst of figuring out the details, and I suggested we each bring our own meat, and share on whatever else we need. Simple I think. It now seems that a little fuss is being kicked up about it, and now I'm really not feeling it. I know I'm no walk in the park sometimes, and probably quick to judge, but I just find such social discrepancies extremely tiresome and not worth my time. I know when I'm in this mood I will be hostile and difficult, so I'm really not sure if I should go drinking with them, unless I can calm down. Or maybe I'm in a particular gloomy mood tonight and would benefit from a good nights sleep.

I love duct tape. It has saved my a** more than once while fishing. camping ect... Oh, you wrote fishing. My damn eyes misread it. Made me laugh

Now we're all writing about grammar and such I must admit that every time I write here, I have a dilemma on wether to write it like spoken, or keep it more ... what do you call it? Formal? Using 'going to' instead of 'gonna' or 'I have' instead of 'I've'. I sometimes switch it around because I can't (cannot?) decide.

Am I wrong if I say that I've heard that brits say 'misproNUNciation'?

I make great dinners even though it's only for me. Why eat bad just because you're single is what I say. Besides it will probably pay off big time when I one day find me a lovely gal. ;)

That has always baffled me. Two negatives makes a positive, doesn't it? So when people use 'no nothing' in a sentence, doesn't that actually mean there is something? One of my pet peeves. I say something. I have said something. I couldn't have said it better myself. Why is that so hard to understand? I don't know when I have been so self-conscious writing a post ;). By the way, am I the only one who noticed the error in the first meme? It is, not its.

I think the reissues sound great, but honestly don't know how they compare to the original pressings. If the mastering is the same there shouldn't be any noticeable difference.

I don't check in here so often anymore, so this thread is where I stop by and give sign of life :sundog: So what's going on lately? I got my own 1 room apartment with my own bathroom and kitchen. The apartment is heated through the floor, fully equipped with appliances and I have a nice little terrace. I haven't had my very own place since July 2009, so I thought it was about time. What else is going on? I've landed an internship which I'm starting in August, and somewhere around February next year I will complete my bachelor in web development. My friend couple welcomed their daughter Molly yesterday, so I'm completely stoked! So I'm enjoying life, the summer and wasting all the good sunshine hours by reading up on .Net coding. At least I won't get sunburned :7up:

I am going through a lot of my writings on my laptop, and some of it are attempts of writing lyrics to my band. I won't give it all away but two lines struck me as having something highly poetic to it. Maybe it will seem trivial to you, but to me it comes at a time when I needed to read those two lines: If I could change you would change as well Might be the most honest I have ever written :eyeroll:

I remember when you first posted pictures of your lovely daughter, and seeing these now reminds me how time flies. Fortunately you seem to enjoy every second of it :)

Well, my 2017 concert wise (so far) is: Gojira in Copenhagen and Rammstein in Horsens (also Denmark, just closer to home). Maybe many more. I'm hoping for new Mastodon material since I read they hooked up with Brendan O'Brian who produced Crack The Skye which is my favorite Mastodon record. On the other hand I gave up hoping for new Tool material. It'll be released some year. Peter Gabriel touring is very likely and I will likely catch one of his shows. I'm starting to expand my record collection with comedy. I got some Bill Hicks and Bill Burr and I'm really hoping that Bill Burr will release his next special on vinyl also. Other than that I can't think of anymore that's on my radar.

Just placed an order for this bad boy here. Well not exactly this one but one similar. Finally I'm off to shooting medium format film, and one step closer to completely letting go of digital photography.
